Where did anyone say that the men who enjoy porn are monsters? I don't recall saying that the women were "terrorized" victims - but victims they certainly are.


There are issues because porn use is treated too lightly to begin with. Where are the fathers who should be telling their sons about porn? They aren't there - probably because they are too using porn and shy away from the topic. There wouldn't be issues if men didn't pick up porn. Just don't pick it up. Don't engage with it. That's the end of the issue. No demand - no supply.

What do I believe? I believe that pornography is merely the tip of the iceberg, not a root cause at all but a symptom of the cause. The cause is that we human beings tend generally to see one another with a lack of compassion. I believe that the compassion taught by Jesus Christ goes beyond seeing women as victims of men. Compassion tells me that even if a woman has not been abused, has not gone into pornography because of a lack of love in her life in the most obvious ways that there are better ways of seeing her than the way that pornography depicts her. Compassion tells me that even where sinful behaviour is done happily that it is fallen short of the creations God intended us to be.

To me it's not enough to say that men should just stop using pornography. It is far more important that we learn to see one another as Christ saw us (and ourselves too) because that is a far stronger armour against sin.

Would it be possible for you to start another topic about why you think masturbation is immoral, so that we can focus on the topic in the OP?

Pornography and masturbation are related but not quite the same topic, and actually pornography is an important topic to discuss, because it is something that people feel very strongly about but seem to have no idea in a clear and effective way of what to do about, and I would really like to discuss it. Having been seriously into pornography and having perspective on how men deal with it and therefore how they can be free of it is something that is important to me, and this discussion of masturbation is muddying the waters here.

On the day of judgment, do I think that kid will be asked to account for his action? So long as he didn't serve it to anyone, nope.

Do I think that kinda stuff is pretty freakish? Yep. Do I think it constitutes "sexual immorality" in the context you're using? Nope. At most all I think it gets is an eyeroll from God followed by "what a weirdo, and what a waste of a perfectly good pie"

well considering your in the same camp with "pink bits", and there is no sexual immorality in screwing anything under the sun as long as its not an animal or a human, why in the world would you see any problem with porn?, unless your going to argue safety issues and STD testing among porn stars and those who have sex with them

what would your point possibly be, why would you be against porn, if your really not against immoral behavior

kinda like being an advocate for children, yet pro abortion
