What's nonsense about it?

The fact that it says "miracle," not "magic"?

What guys are you talking to?
That subset of the human race that excludes the Kingdom of God from reality.
I reject some of your claims about the spiritual realm --
Get in line.
-- very different thing.
If you want to stamp DOES NOT APPLY to yourself, go ahead.

I'm not singling you out; just your craftsmen.

ETA: Feel free to answer the question.

AV, if you want to direct your comments to other people, don't use the second person in posts you address to me. The whole point of the reply mechanism is that you are singling someone out.

And I did answer the question: I don't reject the spiritual realm. Therefore -57's rejection of a perfectly valid scientific study is not like the way I reject the spiritual realm, since one of those things exists (his rejection) and the other doesn't (my rejection). Clear?

Remember this?

You are at liberty to reject any aspects of reality you don't like. Just don't expect anyone else to care.

So... you addressed "evidence", but just not "specific evidence"?

Of course I did, why do you ask? or where did I give you the idea I did otherwise? You'll need to go back through the threads and find it yourself, I assure you it's there unless posts were removed which I doubt happened.

Atheists say the darnedest things. :)

steveB28....the same is true for MOST of what are called "deletions"....to actually be deletions one would have to show they were formerly a normal presence and now they are not....in most cases (not all, there are a few) this cannot be shown by evidence to be true....yet the belief is swallowed whole....via appeal to authority and argumentum ad populum (two logic fallacies)

Like you guys do the spiritual realm?
Can you clarify please, which spiritual realms you want us to respect? Does this include Islam, New Age, and the like?

You think the logic on the board is legitimate? If so, we could prove anything. For instance:
2= 1 + 1
substitute 1 = 1 + 0
then 2 = 1 + 0 + 1 + 0
Then a miracle occurs
Now 1 = 3
therefore 2= 3 + 0 + 3 + 0
therefore 2 = 6

All the logic is sound, but the step where "then a miracle occurs" is inserted. If we allow that, all logic goes out the window.

I prefer my science pure.

Yeah, I remember it. I meant it for the person I was addressing. How is that similar what you did here, addressing a message to me that you say you didn't mean for me?

If my memory serves me correctly, I addressed it as a question.

If the question didn't apply to you, all you had to do is say so.

Perhaps I should have said, "your kind."

Would that have been better?

You addressed it as a question that assumed I belonged to a group that rejected the spiritual realm.

If the question didn't apply to you, all you had to do is say so.
I did. What does that have to do with taking my own advice? What on earth are you talking about?

Perhaps I should have said, "your kind."
Perhaps you shouldn said, "Oops, sorry, I didn't intend that for you."

Would that have been better?
No. That would be just another way to suggest that I reject the spiritual realm without coming out and saying it -- you know, like by phrasing it as a question -- because if you came out and said it you'd have to defend it.

Well maybe you have a version of the spiritual realm that sits at the back of the bus then.

I don't know, and I don't care.

But I'm the Rosa Parks of preeminent faith, and I'll sit up front.

Right in the forefront of you scientists and tell you guys your science can take a hike.

I would ask why you bothered to post repeatedly about something you don't care about -- but considering your post count, I have to assume most of your posts are about things you don't care about.

Are we through now?

Or are you still going to bark that I stepped on your toes by including you in a question?
