Wow, I think you're the most judgmental and self righteous poster here. How dare you say such a thing, you have NO RIGHT.
I've been reading your posts for days. Is there any core belief of orthodox Christians you DO hold?

I did not think your posts were anything secret.

You do not believe in hell, you do not believe in Church, you beleive the gospel of Thomas contains the words of Christ.

Your outrage and indignation is noted though.

Please tell me what you believe being a Christian is and we will see if I owe you an apology. Let's talk about being a Christian.

The Calvinist definition of predestination is not correct. Predestination simply means that we can be like the apostles.

Predestination acknowledges that God is already aware of the free-will choices we are going to make in the future.

Hell will be fire from God which will consume the wicked and their master.
By "their master" do you mean the devil?

Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Jesus went to hell to preach to the spirits in prison, as it says in Peter. Not to be tortured - common misunderstanding, and very, very, wrong. So hell could very easily be a fire torture pit, and your statement would still have no bearing. (For the record, I'm somewhat agnostic on whether hell is a firey pit or not. Your view could very easily be right. But yes, I do think that God could have created such a place, and it would not be anything against him - sin, after all, requires punishment, and while God is merciful, he is also just.)

The bible says the wages of sin is DEATH. It does not say the wages of sin is being burned forever in a fire torture pit.

I think you have big ones for even making a statement like that. You are not god, you don't know me, you know nothing about my own personal relationship with god, and you can't read my heart. To even suggest that you know my heart condition and my relationship with God, and judge it as wrong, is in fact sinful.

You are attempting to put yourself in the judge's seat and judge me because you might believe different details then I do. And guess what? Maybe my details are right and yours are wrong? Ever think of that? But no matter who is right and who is wrong, it doesn't even matter because that's for God to decide, I belong to Him, not you.

Matthew 7:5 says "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

I will not defend my Christianity to you or any other person here or anywhere. You hold no position of authority to judge or make false statements about another person's relationship with God. I didn't ask you for an apology, but if you owe anyone an apology, it would be God because you have attempted to sit in His seat and do the judging of His children, which is pretty outrageous and self righteous for you to consider yourself above other people, especially your own brothers and sisters.

So get off that throne you're trying to sit on, it belongs to Jesus, not you.

Revelation 20:10 (NKJV)
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

1John 4:8 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Duet 28:66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life

Ever notice the wording, TORMENTED and FEAR hath torment and the "night and day". Verses "no more night" in the city

Its pretty interesting how you can catch a glimmer of these things elsewhere, same here, this time is the words "no rest"

Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

In contrast...

Whereas Psalm 95:11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

(The law worketh wrath, its even "there" in His wrath He swares concerning His rest)

Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

actually, the second death, is that of the soul,
destroyed in the Lake of Fire....
even hell is destroyed in the lake of fire...

it is not eternal torment...but the results are eternal....

God drowned everyone on Earth but 8, don't you think drowning is torture?
no...it is the wages of sin..death...

The bible says the wages of sin is DEATH. It does not say the wages of sin is being burned forever in a fire torture pit.
hey, I just said that!^_^
No, it's just death. Eye for an eye, the wages of sin is death.
yeppers...God is not a sadist...
either we have eternal life with Him, or eternal nothingness

I wonder how many babies and children were drowned.
since God knows us all before the foundations of this age were even set up,
then He knows who is innocent and who is not....
I don't think any of us are truly innocent...

IMO we are all very old souls...IMO we were with God before we were born into human bodies

He knows us very well....that is how He can love Jacob and hate Esau before they were even born...

and His plan is for the greater good, including all those deaths of seemingly innocent children...

(they probably were not innocent in the age that was before the flesh)

IMO God will use the lesson of their deaths, to eventually save them,
and many of us aswell....

I do not believe in a literal burning fire called hell.To believe this would be to believe that God is cruel and unmerciful. If one can reason they should be able to reason that 50 or so years of petty sins are not justification to burn someone alive in a fire forever and ever.the Hellfire God was invented by the church to control the masses I do believe. It is a good feature to use to get souls and to keep everyone in line.

"'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

Samaria did not commit half the sins you did. You have done more detestable things than they, and have made your sisters seem righteous by all these things you have done. Bear your disgrace, for you have furnished some justification for your sisters. Because your sins were more vile than theirs, they appear more righteous than you. So then, be ashamed and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.

"'However, I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and of Samaria and her daughters, and your fortunes along with them, so that you may bear your disgrace and be ashamed of all you have done in giving them comfort. And your sisters, Sodom with her daughters and Samaria with her daughters, will return to what they were before; and you and your daughters will return to what you were before. Ezekiel 16:49-55 NIV

Yes, Sodom was destroyed. Yes, Sodom was consumed. Yes, Sodom is around no longer. And yes, Sodom will be fully restored. Praise God.

That is so not what's going on. It's talking about judgment. I knew this was what you were getting at. I also noticed how after I answered your questions you still haven't spoken about the texts I provided you with that talk about destruction of the wicked.

Remember what Christ said in matthew and in luke: I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.

Sodom and Gomorrah will be judged. They will be restored so that they can receive judgment, just like every other wicked person. So will you comment on those verses I provided or are you going to ignore them?

Commonly misunderstood text in Peter. The dead know nothing. Thus Christ couldn't speak to someone dead.
