• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So what?
I think christianity is silly, and all the baggage that goes with it, but I have yet to tell someone they shouldn't do it.

So what? So what, back at ya!

Have I mentioned Christianity? I don't think I mentioned Jesus or God in this discussion.

I wish people would get their stories straight. Your propoganda article says people are forced into prostitution, blondielashes admits she was not, and was a willing participant at the beginning.

It all depends on how you view "forced"... giving someone limited choices is forcing them to select one of those... making something appear more attractive or tastier is forcing them into making uninformed decisions based on the lie.

That's beautiful...
Okay, if everything said in forums on the internet is absolute fact, you should accept what I said about that husband and wife who were perfectly happy to work in porn. And everything I say, for that matter.

I then got involved in it and as a result my viewpoint was that it was fine - what was the big deal?!
Does this sound like someone being forced to do anything? If she thought it was not a big deal, why would anyone need to force her?

If someone from the porn industry grabbed her and said "you have this limited group of choices", then yes, the porn industry enslaved her.

If the lack of choices was due to lack of education or job skills, then it was either her fault or that of society in general, depending on whether education or training was available to her. She said she was attending college, so one must assume that it was.
making something appear more attractive or tastier is forcing them into making uninformed decisions based on the lie.
In other words, the entire advertising industry should be made illegal. And all military recruiters should be thrown in the stockade when they make life in the service sound better than it is. I agree. But are these guys guilty of "force"? Not everybody is gullible. Does everyone who talks to a recruiter sign up? So they were unable to use "force" that time?

Talk to prostitutes you aren't paying for sex (or whatever service they are providing). They are not about to tell you the truth if they see you as a potential trick. Porn performers are more difficult because they always have a potential buyer in someone... their image, like any celebrity, is too valuable to taint with truth.

Go to the victims threads... listen to them.
Nope, it's not up to me to do that. It's up to YOU to support yoru silly and patently false claims. You can't.
