It is still ongoing though as long as we trade the gifts with each other to strengthen each other's integrity, thus only in the same sense as in their time namely not worldly.

I'm saying that we are not supposed to have stopped practising the spiritual kingdom of God within church fellowship circa 400 (or 200) though there have been pressures.

My mindset seems odd to many, because I am scarcely a dispensationist at all.

II Corinthians explains other aspects of the same situation at length and I have lived through it incidentally.

The contrast of what we are both saying is with the idea of the KOG only being material in nature and only in the future, as a poster keeps posting.

AD 200 was about when the teachings of Plotinus started getting entrenched in the thinking of Christians.

The kingdom of God is eternal, it is not meant to stop in any time.
