Is this really an objective source or does it just teach the traditional orthadox point of view?
Good day, WiredSpirit

Objective not sure how you use this term? In the field of Greek NT grammer and construction Mr. Mounce is second to none. Not sure that there is any othadox nature to the study of lanauge as such.

Peace to u,

Bill

Very true Bill! I learned Greek from Mounce and would highly recommend his system to anyone. He makes the difficult task of linguistics much more simple with his approach.

Will Mounce is freakin awesome! I own his "basics of biblical greek" text. I also enjoy the CD that comes with it, the word study part is fun.
That CD cracks me up. Mounce is one of those super-scholastic guys who think that they are real funny but aren't. He loves Greek and I love to hear him crack himself up with his own jokes (while no one in the class laughs). He's a funny teacher for sure. And his "basics" books are great starters. If you've been through them you should move on to "Beyond the Basics".. which is another excellent set...

He teaches the Kione Greek. There's no religious slant one way or another. What you make of it is what makes it orthodox or not.
