I don't really understand how they work, cyg. When it takes a photo does that show up for anyone who has a camera thing too? Oh, I just remembered my kids saying you have to allow a person to see you or something? I do try to keep up with technology. :p :D

The camera either takes snaps or film , or alterantly it goes out live to MSN or Yahoo messenger , some people use them for buisness and others for families across the world , just like a vid phone through broadband.
I so agree.....never get rid of your CDs, cyg. I only have a few and though I've put some on the pc to listen to, save fiddling round with CDs in and out, I'd never get rid of the actual CD. I still have tons of LPs and 45s. :D Did you ever finish putting all your CDs onto your ipod?
I still have about a hundred vinyls , some of them are collectable because they are in a thick vinyl , like some of my Bob Dylan records from my bedsit days , memories .......

We have a tiny room which stores the big gas heater and it has shelves which are full of cartons with my books in them. I only have my special books out in a bookcase. Just too many of them. One day I need to go through them and decide.....but I expect I'll decide I still want all of them. :D Annuals from when I was kid and many, many children's books, which I collect. I haven't been and had a look round for some time, though. Perhaps it's time to go and have another look in the secondhand bookstores. :)

try and get hold of "The Silver Sword" JS.

Yes, the ordinary piano is my favourite as well, though I like experimenting with different sounds on synths. It'd be cool to see Joel! :) I still play.....it's 9 years now that I've been playing at our services. :) They don't seem sick of me yet. :D I love playing for the services. I'll always play, cyg, since I'm blessed to have a piano of my own. My grandpa got it from his sister and said to my mum it was to be for me. I love my piano. :) I just sat down and played something as it's here in this room and when I play my fingers aren't flat or anything, but they're not in the traditional high curved position piano teachers insist on. Sort of halfway between, with my wrists level with my hands. I've always played that way and endured heaps of rapped knuckles when I was a kid learning at the Convent. Oh well.....the music happens and that's cool. :D

Ouch!!!
I enjoyed that last vid about the car. Very interesting stuff. The description of Roger seemed to fit someone else I know, too, cyg, in many ways. :D
here's Joels latest vid , he is the dude with the Metallica haircut , and bass , he is playing with this band tonight in some bikers pub :D

I wonder if any of my old records are collectable? I don't even know if they're in a thick vinyl, as you mentioned. I just bought them and played them. :D

I'm almost certain I have 'The Silver Sword' cyg. Just have to find it in one of the thousand boxes :p in that room.

Cool vid and great sound happening there! :) I recognise Joel now. I saw the head banging bit (I think you call it?) :D Our lads have long hair too and have done that sometimes when playing CDs. ^_^

cyg, how do you do quotes chopped up like you did above? I only know how to do the multi quote thing where it's all one big quote.....

here's the info on vid cams ;

How webcams work

There are two different ways to use a webcam at home — through e-mail and with instant messaging programs.
E-mail your video files
To use a webcam with e-mail, users must first launch the software that comes with the camera. Depending on the model, the process of e-mailing and recording your video messages may vary. Press Start or Record to begin the video message. Click Stop and then preview the video. You can then click E-mail or Send, which will automatically open your default e-mail program (Outlook 2007).
When sending a video e-mail, the longer the video message recorded, the bigger the attachment will be, so make sure the recipient's computer can handle the size. The recipient of the e-mail does not need special software to see your video message; they simply choose to open the attachment and the mini-movie will play.
Instant Messaging
A popular way to chat with webcams is in "real-time" with instant messaging (IM) programs like Windows Live Messenger. Note that both ends must have a webcam to chat visually.
During an IM chat, there will be an option to start the webcam right on the screen, or under the Options or Tools pull-down menu. In Windows Live Messenger, simply click Actions > Video >Start a video chat. If you happen to have a Microsoft LifeCam, starting a video chat is even easier.
The Windows Live Call button is similar to speed-dialing on your phone. Pressing the Call Button — located at the top of the LifeCam — will automatically bring up your buddy list, showing you which contacts are online. Simply pick one and start your video chat.
You can also blog your webcam photos. For example, the LifeCam one-touch blogging feature allows you to take a still photograph with your LifeCam and post it directly to your Windows Live Space blog. Instant show and tell, if you will.
To start showing off your favourite webcam pics, head to the Windows Live Spaces homepage, click Create your space, and start expressing yourself!

oh you mean like this JS , well just open the page you want to reply to (post-quote tab) , and highlight the specific paragraph you want to answer and press the quotes tab , keep doing that , but remember to remove the extra quote/s signs at the end because it will not delete the already existant quote sign/s. SEE ABOVE !!!

I liked the first piece on Joel's page too, cyg. Did he write it himself? It was very inspiring music.....

He deserves a shot at a full recording of his work, I think. Does he plan to make a CD in his own right?

Hi Joyshirley!

Thanks for the possitive and heart warming comments :)

The first song on the page was written by me yes, but not written because it is improvised hehe

I hope to make a CD of all the songs i've written, that would be so great :)

I got a gig in 20 minutes so I best be off.

Take Care & have fun!
