Josh Blue won.
He was my favorite,
thought the runner-up was excellent, too.

thanks for reminding me...I would've completely forgotten about it. my brother actually tried out for the show last year...he had done some standup in college. He said he got a couple chuckles out of one of the judges...but in general they thought he needed more experience.

I watched the first hour last night,
but I recorded the whole thing.

I loved the guy who said,

We've only seen about 20 minutes so far - we'll watch the rest tonight. The auditions were horrible, but we're a little bit into the first set of performances and some of them are very funny.

I was disappointed they only picked 3 comics from Montreal and 3 from San Antonio...I thought the comics from those cities were far more funny than the NYC comics...there were several really good ones that go left out.

I agree completely, I was really rooting for a number of them, and I was really surprised they only took three from each city. I don't know what the point was in doing that. New York favoritism maybe?

I heard the comedy special they were supposed to give him on Comedy Central ended up being a DVD release instead. Other than that, I haven't heard much about him, though I read recently on RealityTVWorld.com that he was developing a TV show.

He came to Maine twice that I know of.
I didn't see him.
He went to Portland.
He went to the University of Maine at Farmington and
he "offended" some people with one of his jokes.

When he talked about the difference between
the Para-lympics and the Special Olympics.
I was surprised he used the f-word, too.
I liked him during the contest because he stuck to "clean" subjects.

I watched the repeat last night. In Montreal, they didn't announce a capital One audience favorite. I wonder if it was edited out and more people made it than we saw?

That could be, and I hope it's the case. I had assumed they didn't have a Capital One winner because of some international commerce laws or something.
