Whats this have to do with Kyle?
Oh, Aldebaran introduced the topic of Ahmaud Arbery as a counter to my saying that the legal system got it wrong in the Kyle Rittenhouse case. But you are right. It is totally off topic. But that won't stop it from being discussed here.

He wouldn't be dead if he didn't grab the shotgun and try to use it against its owner.

I think we should return to the topic of Kyle Rittenhouse and leave poor Ahmaud Arbery to rest in peace.

If people want to extend the discussion of Kyle Rittenhouse to similar cases, perhaps they might like to comment on the school shooting in Oxford Michigan a couple of days ago. I have relatives in the area for whom this tragedy has hit them hard. Do you think the parents who gave their son the gun and failed to secure it should be prosecuted?

Arbery can rest in peace, but it doesn't mean the case concerning him and his actions can't be discussed.

Yes criminals who attack innocent people are heroes.

Especially when they're violent arsonists that the Left can exploit to further their gun control narrative.

They burn loot and murder but point fingers when others break into a building. They accuse them of being killers and rapists which it not true

Exactly. Liberals say blacks are being murdered by police but then say race doesn't matter

Black lives matter, but the truth does not.

They like to project. The BLM chaz zone was called the "Summer of Love" when rape and murder occurred there, not to mention an illegal seizure of property from the taxpayers. But people walking into the Capitol--escorted by police? Insurrection, rape, murder, you name it. Oh yeah, and years in prison (after close to a year in solitary confinement) for those who visited the Capitol that day.
The left are the biggest hypocrites

I wonder what Kyle Rittenhouse will do now that he has been acquitted? The students at the college he was going to attend have spoken out against him and say they don't want him there. That does not bode well for this future social life. His face is so recognizable, he can't really go around anonymously like the rest of us. Sure, he will probably get lots of deals and cash from right-wing pro-gun groups, spots on Fox News, job offers from Mara Lago, but his freedom to move around with general society is going to be quite different from what he expected it would be before the shooting. Despite all the perks, I would not want to be him. I enjoy the true freedom of being anonymous.

He would make a good body guard.

If Covid sticks around, he could blend into any crowd by wearing a mask.
For the long term though, it might be wise for him and his family to move to an area where gun rights and self defense aren't frowned upon. Illinois is hardly such a place.

His demonstrated proficiency with a firearm, his experience as a lifeguard and medic, and desire to become a nurse should open up quite a few opportunities.

I, on the other hand, would be comfortable living in any state, because no one knows me.

Sure, that's always preferable. I prefer to be an unknown regular person too. Fame of any type complicates life.
