Although this can be cute, more confident/agressive women (like myself) will find this somewhat annoying. We give you hints that you have the go ahead...tilting the head, hand on the arm, fluttering the eyelashes.... so asking sometimes seems like woosing out. Just take the plunge and kiss her! (If you want to let her finish her sentence that's okay too.im to young to post in this forum lol. but its pretty interestingmy tip to the guys w/ kissing is ask the girl if they can kiss first. yeah yeah the whole kiss-in-the-middle of a sentence thing is cool, but i think its more polite to ask first in some situations

I've never been asked, but I think it'd be cute compared to how I got my first kisses from the guys I was with. In two of the cases, they stole the kisses, and in the latter case...well...I wanted to kiss him because he wanted to kiss me, and was so patient about it, even though he was seemingly itching to get a kiss from me. So to be asked would be a nice change of pace, but certainly not required. I do love the whole "taking hold of my chin" thing. A moment like that where he suavely sneaks in a kiss can be far more enjoyable and surprising than him asking me.

Of course, one doesn't HAVE to hang upside down to achieve it. He or she can just lay down and the other can kiss them from the opposite direction over their head. It really is a fun way to kiss when you pull it off right. I know I loved it!
Oh I think I mentioned earlier in the thread, just when a guy puts his hand on my chin or jaw and tilts my head upward to him so he can kiss me. I love when guys do that, whether I expect it or not. What I was getting at was that I'd prefer the chin tilt that gradually tells me he'd like a kiss than a question asking me if he could. The chin tilt is just too irresistible.

are you sure it wans't body paint?I'd love to try the spiderman kiss!! i was going to suggest it but i got beaten too it. I will DEFINATLY be doing that one once i get a girlfriend. probbaly not a first date thing though. I'll wait till the 3rd at least.
Thats such a fun rule to break!! I've only kissed 3 times and all of them were french (the kissing not the girls) so its the only type of kissing i know! as long as its mutual its a great way to first kiss.

vary your style. dont kiss the same way, it would become predictable. for example, dont save tounge for longer kisses. A very brief but very passionate kiss can keep her on her toes, girls normally expect short kisses to be same. the opposite is true, a make out session can involve lots of slow, soft little kisses all over her face with eskimo kisses to break things up. Instead of long french kissing.
I saw in a giftshop once a kissing set that looked awesome. What it was, was a box full of small jars (like little jam or marmlade) ones full of things like liquid chocolate, strawberry syrup etc and a small, flat paintbrush. the idea is that you paint your girlfriends lips with the strawberry syrup etc before kissing her. I thought it looked like amazing fun. It would be ideal at a picnic i reckon.
