I haven't forgotten her. I wasn't alive when that happened bc you're bringing up something that is literally from the last millennium. The little sexual innuendos by "conservatives" about it here are just tacky.

Thanks for making me feel old! ^_^

You mean 20 some years ago. :sigh:

How about the little sexual innuendos by "liberals" here? Just good reporting?

Let's be serious for a moment. The fact that some people may have over-reacted - and I agree it was an over-reaction - has almost no value in supporting an indictment of all "liberals". This thread reeks of the destructive form of partisanship that has deeply infected American society. Yes, there is nothing to complain about with respect to Ms. Conway's pose on the couch. But to take the smattering of negative reaction and manufacture a critique of "liberals" is really grasping at straws.

Is there an energy source that does not endanger the environment and yet produces enough energy to do us much good?
All energy sources have their pros and cons, but some have more cons than others. I'm in favor of moving in the direction of natural gas, 4th Gen nuclear, solar, wind, geothermal and wave, but not one soure is percect.

20 years ago was in the last millennium.

How about a little personal accountability?

Well, what's the point in posting the picture and The Telegraph making a big deal out of it, then? I'm trying to keep your comments about not blaming all liberals in perspective, but this is a drip, drip, drip, process of trying to destabilize our government that we're seeing unfold this past several months.

No, no one attempt is all that significant, but the Left has already announced that it intends to work non-stop on one after another project designed to obstruct and destroy the administration.

So when one example after another comes along, expect people to feel that 'enough is enough' and, at the same time, not to be taken in by any claims that it's just one thing standing alone.

Kellyanne Conway, the senior adviser to President Donald Trump, has been accused of showing a lack of respect after she was photographed kneeling on a couch in the Oval Office.

It's possible that she didn't even know a picture was about to be taken at this moment. If you look at some of the other people, they weren't even facing the camera. Most likely, everyone was preparing for a photo to be taken and they took this one in advance and thought it would be a good idea to use it to make Conway look bad. I'm sure there was a better picture taken right after this one when everyone was ready for it.

It surely looks like there's been a pause in the action overall. The people shown may, in fact, have been waiting more than a few moments for what was to take place.

And during that time, Kellyanne Conway used the time to do something with her phone. For some reason, a picture got taken during that time. Snapshots rarely tell a whole story unless the story is made up based on the snapshot.

I agree that "The Telegraph" should not have published such a non-story. It's not news that the media can indeed tilt in the direction of sensationalism. But please note: this is not at all the same thing as being "fake" or dishonest as Mr. Trump has been claiming.

I suggest it is the proper responsibility of the citizens to legally seek to oppose actions of government they deem immoral. Surely, you realize the Republicans were very obstructionist when Mr. Obama was in office.

It also isn't "news", or anything that can be reasonably be expected to be something that will benefit the public to see. So why did they put it out there then?

Why would you think I would know this? - I have agreed it was not responsible journalism to print it. But not because it is 'made up' like the claim that the Chinese created global warming as a hoax, but rather because it is simply not significant.

The media is one hot mess. Does the hypocrisy ever end? Mr. Bill Clinton disrespected the Whitehouse more than anyone ever could. [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] with the young girl. And the left side is mad because Kellyann kneeled on the couch? She didn't kneel under his desk!

That is what we call the fake news. Non stories that the fake news will try to make news so they can be spin it and then be critical of President Trump. It's all made up to be a negitive story when it's just a woman kneeling on a couch. Big deal! Get a life fake news!

Whether it was from last millennium makes no difference. You have inherited the outcome. This is when the world discovered [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] wasn't sex. And we are worried about Kellyann kneeling on a couch? No we aren't worried. We're making fake news so we won't pay attention to what Mr. Obama is doing right now.

Nothing even close to this. In fact, the current campaign to delegitimize the government is unprecedented in US history, I think it's safe to say.

Anything but the kitchen sink is being thrown at him. The left side is throwing everything at him to see what will stick. Russia, Anti Jew, Kellyann kneeling on the couch. What ever they can think of. It's actually pathetic that they can not accept defeat.

'Show some class': Kellyanne Conway accused of lacking respect after putting feet up on Oval Office couch

-------------------------

Apparently the only kneeling liberals will tolerate in the Oval Office involves adultery?

Seriously, folks. Is this how the next four years are going to play out? Someone can't sit on a couch without it becoming the top trend on twitter and an international outrage?

unfortunately, modern republicans also seem okay with having an adulterer in the white house...in fact donald trump brags about committing adultery in his book "the art of the comeback"
it doesnt mean he cant do good things as president, Trump may actually be a great president.....but republicans need to admit that they have sold out their values...
