If one demands a literal interpretation of Genesis and Exodus I would not say that that is the case. Odds are that they will not even own up to the minor errors in the Bible.

Actually, no, I don't support it, and you don't have to, because under the Hyde Amendment, tax money doesn't pay for abortion, except when the mother's life is in danger, or in the cases of rape or incest.
Now, if you have a problem with saving the mother's life, or are somehow pro rape and/or incest pregnancy, you can most certainly petition your government to amend the Hyde Amendment...
But abortion is not a religion, so the First Amendment doesn't come into play.

The Church of Satan has never been shy about offering themselves as the test cases for such events... shockingly, the Christians usually end up backing down when they realize who they've invited to feast at the government trough.

No the first Amendment doesn't say that. It says we cannot make a law for the establishment of a religion and cannot make a law to prohibit the free exercise thereof.
A judge putting up the ten commandments in his courtroom is not establishing by law a religion. Putting up a nativity scene is not by law establishing a religion. It's a recognition of an extremely important belief that helped in the founding of this country.
The intent of the First Amendment is clearly established in the Christian references scriptures traditions and monuments that are replete within our government and withing the government buildings and property that were built and formed during the early years if this country.
I actually have the Constitution on my side as well as history.

You have obviously missed out on a scientific education to start with. It is hard to truly appreciate the world that we live in without one. And if you make a statement about something you really should know what you are talking about. And the reason that I have no God in my life is the same reason that you don't have one either.
Please, don't make charges against others that you can't support. Let's try to stick with the science since this is a science based areas of the forum. Plain and simple there is no scientific evidence that supports your beliefs. Almost all creationists do not understand the relatively simple concept of scientific evidence. For some reason it seems to scare them.

You know an awful lot for not having been there.Of course it has errors in it. Don't be silly. It has hundreds of self contradictions alone. We know that there never was a worldwide flood. We know that there were never only two people on this Earth.
And I do not twist the scriptures. I see Christians doing that far more often than I ever would.
In other words---I've missed out on nothing. Science doesn't scare us. And we appreciate this world in a way you all can not in any way do so---We pity you--for we see the magnitude of God, the beauty of His thinking in the design of the world and the awesome designs and varieties of His creatures. They all speak of Him, and you can not see it.
