Hi dsdumpling, I am not sure what to call you. In South Africa under the Afrikaans speaking culture we call ever female that is ten years or more older that you "tannie". It means Aunt. But I am sure you do not want me to call you Aunty, or do you?

You can call me that or Dawn. I like Tannie...would you say Tannie Dawn or just Tannie?

If I would call you or if I were formal I would say Tannie Dawn, but just tannie in a normal conversation like the one we are having now.
