Just "be" "Love"... What more do we need to know than this...? It is the entire point of the scriptures, all the rest is just blah blah, this or that...

Your missing the point, which is just simply "Love", it does not get any simpler than that...

God is Love and Love is God, Love is also truth, the only truth that matters...

Becoming Love, embodying it, personifying it, being and becoming it, is becoming like God...

Love is the goal, Love is the purpose, Love is, or should be, our identity or who we are in Christ...

I posted this to someone when asked how Christians should be or are supposed to be living...

As far as how Christians are supposed to be, or be living... I am onto this thing of being "Love"... Personifying it, embodying it, making it a major part, and hopefully in time, "all" of who I am... Simply "being" "Love"...

And when I lose sight of this, I close my eyes, think on it and him and refocus to get back to center, which for me is love... God is Love after all, so shouldn't we, especially Christians "be" also...?

Godly love though, not the way the world defines or thinks of love, but what God and scripture does...

Focusing on peace, also helps...

Many things are contained in love, Godly Love that is...

I made a list here on good words to focus on that most of which, are contained in it (love)...

Morality, good and bad, right and wrong, Ethics, Virtues...

Also about being Love, I believe it is the objective and mandate and goal and point of the gospel and scriptures, as stated here:

1Timothy 1:5-7, Romans 1:19-23... Discussion...? Objective of this mandate (gospel)...

Peace,

God Bless!

Be "open" and not closed off from Love or from feeling... I'm not saying you have to be a sap, or sappy, just open, with no walls up...

Be open to "touch" allow yourself and your heart to touched by Love and by God...

All else is ego and vanity...

God Bless!

Be kind, be forgiving, be merciful, counsel and console and comfort others... Be understanding, compassionate, empathetic... Be a help to others, to everyone, to society, assist, guide, direct, help... Don't discriminate either, or show partiality, see everyone, especially the lost, the same... help them...

Be Love...

God Bless!

I'm tired of all this wrangling and arguing over doctrinal theology, when it only shows out and displays a great lack of faith, an absence of knowing God is real, and he is there (here) with us, in everything... Every person, every place, every "thing"...

And, a great lack of trust in him...

I'm near the end of my journey, and went through all of this to get "here" where I am at now, and the conclusion is, that it all comes down to this one thing, "Love"...

I used to put up walls, not realizing that I was fighting against and resisting "Love" trying to possess and cause me to become it (Love)...

And, it caused me many problems fighting and resisting it... Like in one of my favorite Star Trek TNG episodes, "Hero Worship" they had waves affecting the ship, and so, they dumped more and more power into the shields (or walls) to compensate, only to find out that the waves were getting stronger and would hit the ship harder and harder...

Only to find out right before they were about to be destroyed, that it was the very power and the more power they were dumping into the shields, was making the waves stronger and harder in hitting the ship harder and harder... When they finally, in the end, dropped the shields, the wave subsided to a soft nudge, instead of a strong and stronger hit, that was about to destroy them...

I did this with the wall or shield around my heart against Love being the waves, and like in the episode, my resisting, strengthening or dumping more power and energy into my wall(s) caused things to get worse and worse, to the point that it was about to destroy me, my mind, and I was nearly completely lost with no hope of return to Love...

How many of you are making this mistake right now...?

Peace,

God Bless!

What is Love?
Caring... and by and in so doing showing that you care, and it being genuine in your heart...

If your not feeling it at first, do it anyway, until it becomes genuine, cause, if you do, it will... Let the doing of the showing that you care transform you, and allow it to and do not resist it, (the promptings toward your caring and showing it with actions) till it becomes genuine, cause, in time, I guarantee you, it will...

Peace,

God Bless!

Most Christians I know say that love is just a part of it all and sound doctrine is much more important.
I think it is the "Ockhams Razor" in the gospel of truth. Its actually THE key to spiritual growth and maturity. It rights all wrongs, forgives all evils, and leads people to true peace and contentment.
I think even Satan knows this, but he gets us all distracted with arguing about doctrines and traditions.
What's worse is that the devil mocks us by having atheist musicians sing about it. John Lennon and Paul McCartney did this with songs like All we need is love and Let it be.
The meaning of life and answer to nearly every problem is right under our noses but like the people confused by Yeshuas parables, we miss the whole point.

I think people like John Lennon and Paul McCartney found Love to be the answer, but were repulsed by what they saw in and with the church upon this revelation, and let that color their perception of God...

The Churches Identity, which is supposed to be love, has been stolen by the enemy, and the enemy has infiltrated the church, and many secular people see this, and let it shape their conclusions about God...

The churches need to reclaim their identity or fall, we need to show the world that in the churches is love... But, they (most of them) are very far from it right now, and that is what the world is seeing and they are letting that affect their perceptions and conclusions about God...

I find it sad and frustrating that many secular people, even atheists, who find love to be the answer, are actually closer to God, (whether they know it, or even want to be, even) are actually closer to God, than many churchgoers actually are, in actuality...

God Bless!

What is Love?

1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (NLT)
4) Love does not give up. Love is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not put itself up as being important. Love has no pride. 5) Love does not do the wrong thing. Love never thinks of itself. Love does not get angry. Love does not remember the suffering that comes from being hurt by someone. 6) Love is not happy with sin. Love is happy with the truth. 7) Love takes everything that comes without giving up. Love believes all things. Love hopes for all things. Love keeps on in all things. 8) Love never comes to an end.

2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

So we agree that this is LOVE as well?

Unequally yoked means your entire fellowship should not be soley with unbelievers, nor soley with believers only, but that the yoke should be balanced... Be around and have dealings equally with both...

Or you surely don't take that to mean, to not have anything ever to do with any unbelievers at all, otherwise how are we to do the work of winning souls for and to Christ...?

That is like where it says to be no part of or with the world (system), taken to literal extremes, it is explained that you are not to get out of or separate yourself from the world entirely, for the same reasons, being, otherwise how are we to do the work of winning souls... Just don't let your identity in Christ be lost to the world or to and with unbelievers also... If you feel like your in danger of that, you might be unequally yoked...

How are they to know our love, if we have nothing to do at all with them...? And, is that really being truly loving (towards them) and is Christ's or God's love really in us if we have nothing to do with them at all...? We are called to care about them also, just not to be unequally yoked is all...

Balance is very important...

Peace,

God Bless!

Here is what works for me:
1. Always look at others as absolute equals whether rich/poor/black/white/good/bad, ect.
2. Respect other peoples thoughts, space and belongings
3. Treat others as my immediate family. Looking out for needs and being kind & never entertain lustful thoughts.
4. Extending grace to those who cheat, hurt, lie about, gossip about and speak harshly to me.

Its not easy at first, but in time, God creates a heart and attitude like His. It also leads to real freedom, peace and contentment.

Bless up.

What is Love?
Love in the way that I am talking about also means mutual respect and honor where honor is due... Not because of fear though, but out of Love, and out of that Godly form of love and not fear, wanting and desiring to respect and honor each other, even when the other party is not particularly deserving of respect or honor...

Approaching one another and handling one another in a spirit of gentleness, meekness and mildness, but not cowering in any way out of fear though, just out of respect...

Peace,

God Bless!
