Shiori turned to look at the training grounds that she expected to take advantage of.
Suddenly a young man rushed by, he seemed at first confused at her appearence, but proceeded up a long set of stone stairs.
Shiroi wondered briefly where they led to. She shrugged, believing that it led, most likely to the dorms.
Shiori stepped out of the building into the quickly falling sunlight. The red shawl she had tied around her waist fluttered slightly in the wind. It was the sign of a dancer, more or less a calling card so they could always be recognized.
She wore a black sleevless tunic, revealing smooth strong arms, and black calf-length breeches. On her feet were a simple pair of sheep-skin slippers.
Shiori narrowed her dark eyes as she watched the man practise. A hand ran through her short hair, it then moved to her right earlobe where several hoops of gold that pierced her ear, sat together.
She leaned up against the wall and crossed her arms over her chest.
It seemed to her, that this man would practise all night.
Gracefully she walked back into the building and asked about her sleeping quarters. The man mearly grunted and pointed up the stairs.
Shiroi picked up her bundle and made her way into an unccupied room.
She prodded the bed inquisitivly.
//I've slept on worse.// She thought, as she climbed into the bed.

She awoke early the next morning, hunger driving her.
She dressed quickly and silently in the still dark of the morning.
With soft steps she made her way back down that stairs and out the door to the training grounds.
She smirked at what she saw, the man was still there, just as she had thought.
Shiori walked forward, towards him.
"Don't you ever sleep?" She grinned. "I saw you practising last night as well."
She glanced up and down him, he was a handsome young man, and being a dancer herself, she was much less shy, then the next "lady."
"Why don't you take a break and have breakfast with me?" She smiled. "Although I'll be at your mercy, seeing as I do not know where to go to get food."
