Its been my observation that some people have a very hard time admitting error. I try not to push them too hard. I see it as more of a disablity than anything.

How some people get offended and say it shows a lack of intelligence is just arrogant virulence.
I'd just rather vote for someone who can pronounce a 7 letter word rather than a moron.
Luckily, in the UK, even rightwingers have a modicum of education ( usually Eton and Oxford ) and so they are usually as good at pronouncing simple words as normal people
