Biden fought on hot mic cursing reporter calling the reporter derogatory name.

so much for not being a president who does not call names or is mean.
the link Is found here.

I don't suppose that we're going to be treated to the usual posts from liberals saying, gravely, that no Christian could possibly support a president who isn't a model of Christian virtue, right??

Oh, that's right. The replies in THIS CASE will be more in the vein of "everyone does it, so it's not a big deal."

Huh... funny to see this being described as obscene coming from a president by the OP.

Ah, the old - "It is only offensive if posted by certain people" ploy. IOW the problem isn't the obscenities used by joe, but the idea that a poster with whom I don't like brings it up. Thereby making it perfectly fine.

Gotcha - doesn't work in real life, but I gotcha.

Seems like everyone is happy.
That is a rather meager scrap that Fox gets. In his last press conference he called on every major network and allowed them follow up questions. Doucey was called on near the end and allowed one question. This has been the norm since President Biden took office, except usually Doucey has to shout his question after the President has called on others and done with the questions like he did for this hot mic moment. I suppose he has to be happy with what he gets.

No it wasn't vindictive to me. Just a very common tactic used to deflect off the actual topic of the post. I guess in some ways it isn't tolerant of others, but I typically do not let it bother me.

I think it shows a lack of an ability to formulate an intelligent reply - but I could be wrong and it is just a general dislike - meh, it happens. It's all good.

That's unfortunate, since the issue has been explained.

Yeah, I'm not getting it. I will say that this wasn't a gaffe, it was a deliberate slur. But then he went back to his wimpy self and apologized. Meh.

I know it was not vindictive to you. I wasn't talking about others.

I can't wait for the breaking news if Joe decides to expectorate on the grass.

The matter itself stands apart from that, at least Biden did apologize but he shouldn't be blurting out things like that, despite whatever he's feeling or thinking that he's not being overheard.
But it's hard to take your take on the matter seriously as describing this as "obscene" after you were fine with the previous president using the exact same phrase.
Though I will redact that if you are of the opinion that this was nothing and Biden shouldn't have apologized.

Edit: Belk would be correct, at least on the start of the post being too harsh and personal, I'll take that down. I do not believe the latter parts shouldn't go against them, pointing out other posters stances on similar matters should be fine, as the opening post itself seems to about that.

No, rather the old "OP is a bloody hypocrite". But do try to deflect from yourself.

I would suggest editing this post. It breaks several forum rules and will likely be flagged. Just FYI.

Synthetic outrage. Essential said it well. I'm encouraged to hear Joe had the humility to recognize he let his emotions overpower his discretion by calling Doocy to apologize. Leaders should realize they are fallible too.

You expect Joe to spit out flehm on the grass? Is he ill?

I would request you provide a link showing this or please retract it. Be like Joe and an apology would be good also.

BTW - Belk is right. I will not, but they are correct.

Christians/other people are supposed to apologize. When they do something wrong.

"Appearing on Fox News Monday night, Doocy said that Biden had already called him to apologize."

at least Biden did apologize

did ex-Pres EVER apologize for all the name calling to pretty much everyone?
I do appreciate and I am sure Peter Doucey appreciates the apology; but I wonder if President Biden would have apologized if he had not been caught on a hot mic. This is not the first time this has happened with a Fox reporter and President Biden. He dismissed Jacqui Heinrich question as stupid less than a week ago. When my mother-in=law was aging, I noticed the same attitude. When she could not answer a question because of her dementia, she would say it was stupid. It was a reflexive maneuver to protect her acknowledging her dropping mental faculties. I also noticed she had the same problem with numbers that President Biden has where she would say 300 when she meant 3000 or similar issues.

" Christian virtue"? What's that? It's been such a long time since anyone pretended to care...

In your professional opinion, this is dementia? Or perhaps, the Fox reporters just ask stupid questions which makes us all roll our eyes. I will go with the latter, and you go on taking the dementia angle.
