Why do you consider this kind of stuff to have any value? There is certainly no Christianity ion this kind of negative garbage.
If you've watched serval videos of Kaitlyn Bennett to Cenk and The Young Turks you'd understand why I feel they deserve the feeling of disappointment over their ideologies losing. I do not care if it's unchristian to enjoy seeing conceited - politico cult like personalities and snowflake college kids have a meltdown. They deserve every form of salt possible after all the arrogance, dishonesty, and just plainly insulting the career of journalism.

I still agree with conservatives on many issues. I just don't think we should judge someone's salvation on what they vote.

That is a gracious understanding to have, and one that is far too lacking in modern Christianity. Thank you.

It means that we can finally have a leader to be proud of again.
Well, if you are proud of those policies Biden and Harris espouse, especially unlimited abortion. I'm not proud of that. No nation should promote that.

Has anyone noticed that the massive crowds of people who are celebrating Biden's "victory" are also the same people who voted by mail because they were afraid of COVID19?
Irony. Massive virus cases last week - but ignore that because there are huge non-socially distanced rallies to celebrate because Biden was elected. Crazy.

From an EU perspective - the EU is pretty much united on this - it was sad to see the US caught up in all this election chaos, with a childish incumbent making wildly untrue claims from the White House as his supporters gathered in the streets to demand that the very basis of democracy – counting votes – is halted. I'm glad we will now have a sane person in the White House. Congratulations US!
Not your circus, not your monkeys. From the outside, you are only getting a very skewed picture from the mainstream media, which is firmly in the back pocket of the Democratic party.

I'm not sure how much of that Biden even wants. He really is a centrist. I'm a progressive myself, but I think at the moment the priority is to tone down the conflict, and I'd be willing to compromise the progressive agenda to do it.
I would ask where this conciliatory tone was when people were rioting in the streets and tearing down businesses? Didn't hear from Biden or any other Democrat much encouragement to get out of the roads and tone it down. In fact, Harris encouraged it.

Video here: Kamala Harris being interviewed about the protests/riots:

“But they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop. And that’s – they’re not – this is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop.”

In an apparent warning, she continued:

“And everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop….

“They’re not gonna stop before election day in November, and they’re not gonna stop after election day.

“And that should be – everyone should take note of that.”

Harris continued:

“They’re not gonna let up. And they should not. And we should not.”

Nobody is promoting unlimited abortion; that is a gross distortion. It is up to the states to decide abortion policy.

All my neighbors threw parties. People were in the street dancing yelling clapping and banging pots and pans . I had a laughing fit . It’s such a relief not to feel scared all the time . Abusive racism and misogyny is scary for people subjected to it
That's horrifying. We are in the middle of a raging pandemic, according to the news media.

That is a false assertion. Harris has cosponsored the most aggressively pro-abortion piece of federal legislation ever introduced, the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would override state restrictions on abortions in the last three months of pregnancy, well after fetal viability. The Women’s Health Protection Act would invalidate any and all state-level protections for unborn children after the point of viability — indeed, up until birth.

We are supposed to pretend it doesn't read that way, but it does, and quite intentionally. Cosponsors - S.1645 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Women's Health Protection Act of 2019

I think maybe you need to brush up on what they stand for and attempt to educate yourself on abortion before you pretend to know what they do and don’t advocate.

most wearing masks . But New York’s numbers are currently very low so people forgetting to mask up in the heat of the moment probably isn’t going to do much

And I thought churches supported Donald Trump?

I've been thinking about your post for three days now. I think you've correctly identified a widespread public perception, both inside and outside of the church. And, to my sadness, I think that perception has a basis in fact.

It's not enough to say "not all Christians". I don't know exactly what the way forward looks like, but the church has to change, and I have to be part of that change.

Thanks, @Introverted1293 . You have been a voice through which God spoke to me this weekend. Truly, thank you.

Trump didn't seem to have a problem with abortion when he was encouraging his former girlfriend to have one

So after all the un-masked, non-distance, "covid is fake" Trump rallies, you suddenly care?

Not your circus, not your monkeys. From the outside, you are only getting a very skewed picture from the mainstream media, which is firmly in the back pocket of the Democratic party.

"It's all a vast conspiracy"

I would ask where this conciliatory tone was when people were rioting in the streets and tearing down businesses? Didn't hear from Biden or any other Democrat much encouragement to get out of the roads and tone it down. In fact, Harris encouraged it.

"Stand back and stand by"

See that's the problem with supporting Trump - he's already done just about every bad thing you might use against the Democrats. And more....

If the Dems get any significant sort of power to change things - which seems unlikely given their showing in the Senate and the overt voter fraud they are guilty of - you have only to look at Seattle, or Portland, Detroit, or San Francisco (or the entire state of California from which hundreds of thousands are fleeing) to see what Democratic (or, should I say, communist-socialist political leadership will look like). Not pretty. For a view of what such leadership looks like farther down the road and with more power just look at China: concentration camps, organ harvesting, violent oppression of religion and free speech, governmental authoritarianism. Funded by millions of dollars from China, this is where the Left (think Harris, Pelosi, AOC, CNN, NBC, etc.) wants to take the "land of the free and the home of the brave."

I have just drowned in a sea of Hyperbole after reading this.

The rhetoric has filled my lungs and now I am dead!
