If the Dems get any significant sort of power to change things - which seems unlikely given their showing in the Senate and the overt voter fraud they are guilty of - you have only to look at Seattle, or Portland, Detroit, or San Francisco (or the entire state of California from which hundreds of thousands are fleeing) to see what Democratic (or, should I say, communist-socialist political leadership will look like). Not pretty. For a view of what such leadership looks like farther down the road and with more power just look at China: concentration camps, organ harvesting, violent oppression of religion and free speech, governmental authoritarianism. Funded by millions of dollars from China, this is where the Left (think Harris, Pelosi, AOC, CNN, NBC, etc.) wants to take the "land of the free and the home of the brave."

Biden claims he is against socialism/communism. I can't see it happening. It would be near impossible to just convert our country to socialism. The socialism thing is more of an exaggeration used by Republicans.

Catholics I talk to generally support Republicans, because they're against abortion. I don't know why I always see people holding signs on TV that say Catholics are for abortion. I guess you're allowed to write any lie on a sign.

I need to be careful what I write. I actually wasn't trying to lie. That is why I wrote this thread. But it is true that we can write lies, not because we are purposely lying, but because we were told a lie and for some reason we believed it. But I do know that I don't want to slander a group of people, so I know that I have to be careful what I write.

Joe has not won anything. The major media is censoring stories on the widespread election fraud. The first to be charged is Kelly Brunner who was just charged with 134 counts involving election fraud. The media can't win a debate so they suppress talk about the fraud.

Believe it or not America is a secular state regardless if it's flying a mostly red flag or a mostly blue flag. Who's holding that flag should not have an impact our faith even if laws are put in place that limit our reach. Our identity is with Christ first, not with our nationality, when the latter misses the mark (which it always does) our faith should still continue and we should be ready to drop our national identity should it conflict with our ability to follow Christ. So even if the US becomes all the things you fear, you are still a child of God and a follower of Christ and perhaps the only thing that changes is our grip of earthy kindgoms but Christ has already asked us to deny these things to follow him.

The US is unlikely to become a "Socialist" or "Communist" country at any point in the near future. We all saw what happened when we tried to get everyone on board for basic hygiene in a pandemic. Many Americans have very little appetite for giving up individualism for the good of our fellows.

This is definitely true. We would probably have a mutiny or whatever you call it on are hands.

I am curious about your statement regarding churches supporting Trump over Biden. Perhaps you are referring to Christians in general? In either case, the followers of Christ supported both Trump and Biden in large numbers, for many and varied reasons.

Yes, I asked this question because many Christians were saying that you can't be a true Christian and vote for a democrat. But I do know that is not true now. It is okay to disagree. It's just not ok to state someone's salvation on who they vote for. I know that now. I know I should have known that then. But I was listening to mostly conservatives who were saying Christians can't vote for a democrat and can still be Christians. But not all conservatives believe this. I still agree with conservatives on many issues. I just don't think we should judge someone's salvation on what they vote.

Your final question about love is a resounding YES! Love, as the ultimate measure that Christ has given us, always wins, particularly when we, as Christians, seek it.

Having stayed in a communist country, I can assure you that the US is, and will be for decades to come, nothing like a communist country.

Why I refused to vote for Biden. Let's hope and pray that the Republicans win the majority in the Senate and also that not all Democrats in the House and Senate will be onboard with Biden/Harris' radical agenda which will cripple America.

I can agree to that to a point. I agree with both democrats and republicans on multiple issues. For example, I may agree with the republicans on abortion, but agree with the democrats on social programs, which I won't get into. But I am just saying that it is hard for me to figure out where I fit in.

"Churches" don't vote. Individuals do, and I wouldn't attend any church that tries to tell me how I should mark my ballot. I don't go there to talk politics. I go there to worship the Lord.

As for who wins in any election, that is so inconsequential compared to who is, and will always be, on the Throne. Any President of the United States can serve for no longer than eight years. Jesus Christ is Lord for all of eternity.

Calling a right-centrist like Biden socialist or communist just shows how much people don't understand what either of those terms mean. In many European countries, Biden would be considered way too right-wing to be elected, and those countries find communist governments like China and Vietnam to be repulsive. Seriously, stop calling politicians communist if you don't have any idea what communism actually is. It's like noticing a slight breeze and calling it a hurricane, or drinking a glass of lukewarm water and saying it's boiling.

The president of the US is not a king. Arguably, Biden is just a leader of a mob.

People always do things w/o God's approval. God never approved of innocent people being tortured. He allows free will. It is up to us to create the world we want to live in.

Now I feel guilty. Except, I was one of the people who had a meltdown when Hillary didn't win. But I only didn't want Trump to win because I didn't like his rhetoric.
