I don't recall you quoting scripture at any point. And I'm not aware of anything in the Bible that claims that God interferes with democratic elections.
This appears to be strictly your opinion.
Mexico kind of surprises me. You’d think they would be overjoyed to just not be working with Trump anymore. Pour some salt in that wound.World leaders congratulated Biden for his win with the following notable exceptions:
1) China's Xi Jinping.
2) Russia's Vladimir Putin.
3) Turkey's Recip Erdogan.
4) Iran's Hassan Rohani.
5) Arabia's Mohammed Ben-Salman.
6) Mexico's Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador.
7) Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro.
This list is quite telling!

No comment: Some world leaders silent on Biden win
Comrades! Esteemed Vladimir Putin has abandoned his dear friend. Presidential Trump beset on all sides! Et tu, Putin?World leaders congratulated Biden for his win with the following notable exceptions:

I agree. The explanation I found in the articles is that the Mexican president is afraid of Trump's retaliation in the next 2 months!Mexico kind of surprises me. You’d think they would be overjoyed to just not be working with Trump anymore. Pour some salt in that wound.
Correction: Saudi Arabia's ruling family offered congratulations to the president-elect.
You nailed it! Biden also will not have a mandate, because many who voted for him were actually voting against Donald Trump. So he got many, many no votes. Yet I suspect Biden dose know this only time though will tell.
And even still she got more votes than he did...Trump claimed a mandate and he was in a similar situation, as many apparently voted Trump because they disliked/distrusted Hillary.
Hmm, thought he would have been happy to be off the hook for paying for thousands of miles of Donald's wall.World leaders congratulated Biden for his win with the following notable exceptions:
...
6) Mexico's Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador.
Dont stop believing.
Hold on to that feeling.
I was being ironic. The song fits, but I truly think there's no chance this election flips for any reason.Thanks so much.
In seriousness, having been through a bunch of times when my preferred candidate got beaten, I would say: things are gonna be alright. Your preferred candidate will prevail some other time, and mine wont - yet again.
Then again you didn't go through the last four years on the other side.
... You are only on day 6.... This is nowhere near ending
Most of us had the 8 years of Barak HUSSEIN No-bama before that. Don't worry, like for both Obama and Trump, there'll be a few weeks of 'not my president' with Biden and then things will settle down.
Actually, I did in post #229. It was these:
<snip>
That was nothing. Thinking about every single aspect of how an administration is run... Biden is going to need confirmations. He is going to need the senate. The courts. November 8, 2022 469 seats are up for grabs. So on. You are not of considering the precedents that have been set forth in the last four years. This doesn't just go away.
And that is a big magical 'if' Biden even gets in.
Fair enough.
However, none of those passages explicitly indicate that God dictates the outcomes of democratic elections.
And if you're implication is that God controls all the elections of the governments of the world, there are more than a few philosophical implications re: free will which will result. Effectively, you really are arguing that God is a SimCity-esque player micromanaging the governments of the world.
If that's what you believe of your god, then so be it. But again, you're creating that impression.
Well of course it doesn't!! At the time it was written there were no democratic elections! There were kings and such. The point is---He is still in control over the whole world. There are things that must come to pass in this country. And as I said, God doesn't force. He suggests, and guides. Those that listen will be guided by Him, and His will will be done. And He will often let what people have chosen alone to show some lesson or for whatever purpose He might have.
I know what you're going to ask---so He put Hitler in power? He certainly let it happen and why I have no idea. We are each resposi9ble for our own actions. He doesn't stop all lawless actions, the time for a perfect environment has not yet come. It will at His return. He doesn't stop the rapist, the killer, the child molester. All of us has our walk in life--we will have to stand before Him for our lives. We just have to accept that God is love, He is fair, all will be made clear at the end. He has to let sin run it's course for now. Something that agnostics and atheists can not understand.
Satan has a certain amount of control over the planet when it was handed it to him at the fall. His fate was sealed at the cross, it was then he was caste out of heaven and no longer had access to unfallen worlds. They made the decision to caste him out, this planet has not--but to the believer, he is a fallen foe, but still as a lion seeking whom he may devour--he has lost his teeth and claws, but he does enough damage trying to gum us to death!! I understand you don't believe in a God that micro manages---managers---not force. We still have free will.
As for Trump, yes, God put him in, God has taken him out. He put Saul in as king of Israel, Saul did not live up to his potential, and his kingship was taken and given to David. Saul, like Trump, had the chance to do right, and did not. God will humble the proud.
Actually, I did in post #229. It was these:
1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Dan 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
Dan 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
Dan 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
There are others also, since you insist.
Dan 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
This was said long before Cyrus was even born:
Isa 45:1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
Cyrus went under the river by diverting it, and went through the unlocked gates. That prophecy was written in 701 BC to 681 BC. The event took place in 539 BC.
