I wonder how Biden is going to do in office

At 77, we could have our 1st woman President. Anyone know the history of the age of his parents when they died?

Um... doesn't Pennsylvania allow ballots to come in up to three days after election day, as long as they were postmarked by election day?

Yes. And neither the Constitution nor federal law place any such restrictions on ballot validity either.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court, however, ruled that they could come in three days late -- due to the issues with Coronavirus and the Postal Service delays, and that ruling has been appealed by Republicans to the US Supreme Court. So, now the Supreme Court will rule the final "verdict" on the late ballots.

As you point out, the SCOTUS would likely not want to "disenfranchise" voters. At the same time, since there aren't enough ballots to change the election and because they don't want courts overruling the legislature, they now will likely order the ballots thrown out. The voters of these ballots won't be disenfranchised since it can't affect the outcome, just the vote totals.

The Constitution and federal law leave that matter totally up to the states.

I would be very greatly surprised if this Supreme Court removes this authority from the states ("states rights" and all) without either Constitution or federal law to back them up.

Edit: SCOTUS will not want to disenfranchize voters, and I also suspect that they will ultimately decline to get into the weeds of how state courts relate to state legislatures.

I ended up voting for McConnell and believe me it wasn't easy. It was either him or McGrath. I seriously had to pause before checking that box.
So you voted for socialism.

His Dad died at 83, and his mother lived to the ripe old age of 92.

Also, fun fact, Joe Biden is actually Joe Biden Jr. Named after his Dad, something we have in common.

So, their average is 88 years and after 8 years in office, Biden will be only 86.

I remember Trump making fun of George HW Bush bec he was a one-term president!

With the current situation of Republicans controlling the Senate the only two ways forward are cooperation it stalemate. We will see what they come up with.

You nailed it! Biden also will not have a mandate, because many who voted for him were actually voting against Donald Trump. So he got many, many no votes. Yet I suspect Biden dose know this only time though will tell.

What a looser! A one term President, two term Vice-President, two term Congressman, UN Ambassador, Director of the CIA, and a Naval pilot during WW2.

Not like our Glorious Leader who has had a failed election, several failed marriages, several failed casinos, failed vodka, failed steak, failed football team, failed airlines, failed university, oh, the list can go on.

No, you denigrated what scripture says is how God works. You may not think so, but that is what you did, as I said, this is not my opinion.

I don't recall you quoting scripture at any point. And I'm not aware of anything in the Bible that claims that God interferes with democratic elections.

This appears to be strictly your opinion.

I think even though it looks like Biden has won we should wait a little longer
before its official because Trump just might end up winning after all.
Dont stop believing.
Hold on to that feeling.
