Hi folk, there is currently a cricked competition on in this neck of the woods so the big city nearby is in '..sports mode..'. For US folk think in terms of baseball crazyness....

Any way, as folk know Susie and I are returning to the USA.
We are trying to sort out a budget but costs are so different I am getting lost.... we will be in Washington State Seattle way.
Can some folk who live in the colder north or high up (in mountains needing heating) please help with an idea of
1- Basic electricity bill that includes heating. We have found exact cost per unit in each locality so given an idea from someone, and location can adjust this to suit specific areas.
2- FOOD - Our costs in NZ are so different. What is a basic cost for two folk after grocery shopping for a week or month? Examples from folk will be good enough. All I know is that poor old Susie goes '...you pay this much .....you bunch of ....' LOL
(* PS - I like normal food not junk food.... haha..... Susie was a bit intrigued with our huge vege area within the supermarkets. Are fresh veges not the done thing???)
3- How much do folk spend on a car. Here in NZ gas is over $8 a gallon so again I have little idea what to expect.
Things like insurance and phone we can find on the web.
Any help like this would be Sooo appreciated. THANK YOU.
