Hey all :)

So I have a couple of thoughts...

In church this morning one thing that came across really cool to me is that we have the breath of God in us...God breathed his breath into our lungs so we could live...

That's pretty astounding, and also makes me think about whatever I put in my body...how it affects that breath...how I take care of myself, how I live my life, that can all affect that breath and it's not really MY breath...it's GOD'S breath...

Then continuing on that thought is another thought...

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

My thoughts on this are that our souls are parallel or perhaps one with the very breath we breathe. Our souls can be bought or sold (by Christ or by the Devil), but we never actually lose them until death, just like we don't lose our breath until we die. When God breathed the breath of life into Adam, Adam became a living soul but without that breath, he was not a living soul. Therefore, maybe our souls are THE breath of God...hmmm....

Feel free to discuss! :)
