Mr Schiff has purposely restricted any information that supports the Presidents position.

By releasing only information that supports his narrative, he is swaying political opinions.

I doubt Phillip Reeker will help the president's position since he wanted the State Dept to publish clear support for Amb. Yovanovitch.

I don't think the issue is just whether specific testimony will help the president. The reason cited for wanting the documents released before the public hearings was that there were particulars for the witness before them they would like to ask about, but could not because the other information was not yet released.

They wanted the transcripts to note in the hearing before the current witness to have them comment on aspects they could shed light on.

If they are trying to understand what went on that could be helpful. Certainly Republicans might think certain aspects help the president. Other aspects may not. But if they are going to have hearings it would be good to be able to reference earlier statements to gain clarification.

I certainly don't have a ton of info about Ukrainian politics, so if they can ask more questions about particulars it helps me as someone watching.

Rhetoric aside, I want them to have the transcripts so they can use them in the hearing to ask questions, and we can learn more.

Agree that if they are in the hearing, the transcripts should be released. I believe Morrison and Williams are scheduled for this week, not sure about the other two as to when.

Schiff hasn't refused to release the transcripts. He said he was going to release them soon.

Jordan implies the transcripts of Williams and Morrison will exonerate Trump, and they have been released, and they are not so wonderful for Trump.
He implies the same regarding Reeker and Hale, and those transcripts are yet to come, but I expect them to come out. It seems doubtful that they will help.
Do you absolutely know there was nothing classified, or affects an innocent person?

Why didn't Perry testify? Wouldn't he have helped Trump? Refusal implies not.
Why didn't Mulvaney testify? Couldn't he help Trump?

What about the 4 Trump administration officials who defied subpoenas to testify?
John Eisenberg,, Michael Ellis, Robert Blair, and Brian McCormack?

I think that most of the transcripts have been released now. Just a few outstanding perhaps.

Schiff never said he was refusing to release the transcripts. As I mentioned a few posts up, he said they would be released soon. To say otherwise is doing nothing but promoting falsehoods.

The next witnesses are on Tuesday and include Williams, Vindman and Volker and those transcripts are out. On Wednesday is Sondland and that transcript is out. Also, Laura Cooper may testify and hers is out. There is one place that says Hale may testify that day - so that one is yet to come out.
Thursday the witness will be Fiona Hill and that transcript is out.


I don't see where Reeker will be testifying. A few others have transcripts out, and I don't know if they will be scheduled for public testimony.

Jordan is just grandstanding.
