Of course not all are saved and that would be according to the Bible some have not read and understood what it means to have a (WIDE) road going down and a (narrow) road going up it's basic and it ain't rocket science.

For some reason some are blinded and will never understand but of course the Bible also discusses that in detail.

We may be unhappy at the thought of them being saved but the Lord can still save them.
If thats the case I would have to ask if there really a Christian. How could anyone possibly not be happy at someone getting saved when all of heaven rejoices?

Agree.
In order for God to save everyone, He would have to take away our free choice which is part of being human– created in the image of God. He would have to make us into machines (robots) or merely beasts, not persons like Himself. By refusing to believe in God and in His Son (who is the only One who can save us), some will make their choice to depart from God and God’s people.

Because everything associated with God (His Creation and Kingdom) is good (the ‘abundant life,’ loving company, faith, hope, peace, joy, pleasure, beauty, etc.), these things cannot be where the Lord is not. So those who choose against God are choosing against everything that is good.

Hell refers to the absence of these things. So of course Hell would be full of hate, faithlessness, despair, loneliness, anger, frustration, ugliness, pain, etc. The Lake of Fire (the “second death”) is where all who are separated out are not truly living but rather always dying—shrinking, becoming less and less—even while the children of God are growing and becoming more and more.
I think God can think and act a little larger than you.

Wonder if it s true with God all things are possible. But you seem to have it taped. Dont be so quick to tell it like your God. We know what the bible says. But just try and have a heart for the lost for a few seconds. It could change your life.

The church does nothing.
Theres no power in the church

Faith comes by hearing of the Word of God -- usually happens in a church.

Blessed are the Preachers.

Much of the New Testament was written to the Church.

I don't think that's fair.
Not everyone will be saved, I know that. But I don't feel particularly happy about it.

Salvation isn't about what a person has done.
I dare say there are some murderers/rapists who people hope will rot in hell, yet they may have become Christians in prison -showing true repentance, not superficial in the hope of early release. I read about someone, years ago, who became a Christian on death row, but accepted he had to pay the penalty for his crime.
Some people who are, or have been, criminals, cruel dictators or committed vile deeds may still repent, or have repented. King Ahab was a weak, cruel OT king, yet he turned to God.
We may be unhappy at the thought of them being saved but the Lord can still save them.

On the other hand, some people who live good lives will not be saved because they refuse to believe in, or accept, Jesus.

I agree with you. Except that I too have been spoiled by a fairly easy life for over seventy years. But I work in a field where I frequently help Christians who have been the victims of terrible injustices. I do not criticize them when they say are happy that not all will be saved.

But the bottom line of salvation is repentance and faith in Jesus Christ to have paid the price for our sins. That some will choose to reject Christ simply tells us who they really are ... and their eternal destination is between them and the Lord. None of my business.

You don't know me. Don't go all superior and Pharisee on me here.
I evangelize and I work in a field where I truly have a heart for the lost. However, we are speaking here about what the scriptures reveal, not about our own feelings-- which are easily deceived by the world, the flesh, and the devil.

Like scripture, we cannot receive the Gospel truth until someone presents it to us. This has been God’s plan from the beginning. “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14, NKJV)

Well when you concider what the average Christian does to intervien is nothing.
The church does nothing.
Theres no power in the church and so much in house fighting like we see in here. No wonder there pouring into hell.
If you concider that the average Christian doesnt know what the good news is.
As we see all to clearly here. The average Christians only has the bad news of hell. and mostly look like, well I told you if you dont except Christ you go to hell. what more can I do. The average Christian dialouge is disgusting compared to what God really asks of us. We have over 35,000 Christian denominations and they cant agree together. Its disgracefull.
I agree most Christians don’t do anything and a lot as you point out incorrectly try to reach indidivuals.

And yet Jesus said in John 12

32: And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

I think God is better at this than we, our job is to love and support.

Sorry, when I said "we" I was thinking of people in general.
A rapist could repent and be saved; a non Christian may still be wanting them to rot in hell for their crimes and would no doubt say they didn't deserve salvation.

I wrote my last post quite late last night on my kindle fire, and obviously didn't read it properly.

Most of the churches dont preach the full truth for lack of understanding, You have in the theological teachers who are unbelivers teaching the spiritual. Flesh cant possibly teach the spiritual.

Now you clearly dont know that the church is not a building. You also clearly dont know what the word church even means,. This is very basic stuff and heres you here acting like a teacher?

The word church means out goers. And the whole tradictional church all do the opposite and go in.
How will the know lest someone tells them. Welll they aint in the church so YOU have to go out. Not in.
Have a look at James and the stricter judgement for those who preach. That is all in here stateing there opinions. very few have the truth and many have utter tosh. I see it in here every day.

Dont you go getting all hurt and living for self. I thought you died to that. Might be raisings its ugly head again. Self? put it to death once and for all and you wont go getting all hurt. Impossible to be offended when your dead.

And all the preachers are hiding in the building where the people who need to hear are not in the buildings. And its not down to the preachers its also down to us just as much as the preachers. But we are all hiding in our own little worlds. Keeping the gospel top ourselves.
