  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Grace is one awesome piece of album - and the main reason he's my fave solo artist. And that version of Hallelujah is just breathtakingly moving. If you can get hold of the special 10th anniversary edition of Grace you'll be all but set, Candice! (I'm giving very serious thought to getting it just because of an awesome live version of Eternal Life that's on it) I have another CD of live stuff called Mystery White Boy which has most of the songs from Grace on it. :)

Sketches for my Sweetheart [The Drunk] has some great songs on it too ( it was issued post-mortem :( ) but Grace is, IMO, one of the best albums I've ever heard.

KJ, run and buy the Legacy edition of Grace. Not only does it include the Eternal Life cut, it also has the 15 minute live version of Big Star's "Kangaroo."
Well worth the price of admission. :)
