  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Unfortunately for some (and fortunately for the rest of the US) that's the only kind of Republican that stands a even a sort of chance getting elected to the office of the President.
You're voicing your preference there, not facts. A number of polling companies have recently said just the opposite. Try to think in terms of history being something that moves along and you'll see it better.

I honestly hope all conservatives will believe the only candidate worth voting for is a hardline Republican. The election will be a disaster for the Republican Party of epic proportions!

Figured this might be relevant to this thread:
http://www.ontheissues.org/Jeb_Bush.htm

He has many stances that could be viewed as moderate qualities...the real question is will he be accepted by his own party, or will he be instantly given the RINO label and the 'Ron Paul treatment' by the conservative media.

That will depend on how much denial conservatives are into, in regards to the important of appealing to the moderate voters, to get someone in the white house.

I'm sure he won't be given the "Ron Paul" treatment. This is Jeb Bush, after all, the chosen candidate of the party bosses and contributors. You may remember that they wouldn't even count Rep. Paul's delegates at the National Convention.
