Weird, I was just thinking of him yesterday and how he doesn't have a lot of time left.

Sad to hear. I don't share his views, but for better or worse I found his tracts amusing, and even creative in their own way.

He was 92 years old.

Indeed. I can hardly say I was a fan of his paranoid-sounding, overly-spiritualized comics, using the fear of hell and demons always out to claim your soul in order to draw in unbelievers, but nevertheless he was a human being and he did have a family who loved him, I am certain. God rest him.

You know how many here don't read you by the responses to the false report he's dead.


Thanks for that. He's 92 years old now. Eventually every big public name is going to face a fake obituary report. It's amazing if you Google him how many pages and even Wikipedia say he's dead .

I have to say as an Ignostic, the caustic responses by non-Christians here, especially the one describing his tracts style, or that which mocked his death using his tract, and with no compassion aren't anything this unbeliever wants associated with her.

I've seen Chick tracts around for years. Once on the hand dryer in a bathroom.
He certainly did put that edict into practice. The one about spreading the good news to the world.

Good to know he's still alive. I can't imagine the calls his family was getting on the 23rd wishing them condolences. Imagine the shock when he answered the phone.
