As far as the Bush administration is concerned, the Libyan leader is rehabilitated, his country removed from the State Department’s terrorism list, his debt to the families of the victims of Pan Am Flight 103 on its way to being paid, Libya’s stockpiles of chemical weapons destroyed and its secret nuclear weapons program dismantled.

hypocracy! they've been complaining about Obama's position on diplomacy, yet they are seeking diplomacy with a dictator who supported terror and considered him reformed.

What do you expect them to do? Isolate a popular dictator within the Arab and African world after he is clearly reaching out for a truce? Its not like we are getting nothing out of this; Libya has given us plenty of information on the weapons black market.

Very well. It wasn't clear what you meant to say. Much better to criticize the Republican attacks on Obama than what has, by all accounts, been a successful diplomacy campaign.

I see this as something we should consider. If we would have strong diplomacy instead of giving funds to terrorists to fight the Cold War we would have been better off.
