My point was that it's good to get a blood test confirmation if you've had a few negative tests before your positive. That's just my IMO. A good friend of mine tested negative 3 times before a positive test and she was 4.5 weeks as well. She then went to the doctor to confirm it and her urine test was negative then the blood test was positive. She ended up losing the baby at 6 weeks. For me personally I prefer to have a blood test to confirm anyway but I also think it's good to get checked out as well to make sure things are alright.bluenovember said:What would the doctor be able to do this early besides tell me that I'm pregnant?I'm only 4.5 weeks. I wasn't planning on going in until I was 8-10 weeks. With military doctors, I have to go get the PG test, and once that's confirmed they won't do anything else there -- I have to be sent to the hospital because the regular doctor is not allowed to see me at ALL if I'm pregnant, so even if I go in now, I won't be able to be seen by an OB/GYN for at least a few weeks.
