Hey Bellicus-I get what you are saying-I do....and just so you know my give up thread isn't about finding a marriage partner-if you knew me you would knwo I don't want to get remarried
I KNOW how miserable marriage can be. It's s et of frustrations on all aspects of life, being tired of it all, and yes failed love-I don't look for love, I don't get out there searching-I don't want marriage-but sometimes humans get lonely and would like to be loved and love. Nothing wrong w/that I don't think. Believe me I know having kids isnt' a walk in the park-I have two-they are awesome-I love them but there are days it's so exhausting you want to run away.
Tamara I'm confused-so everything bad that happens to us or in the world is because of choices? Does the reap what you sow apply to every aspect of life? And what makes you think so? Cause I'm pretty sure that I didn't harvest/sow anything in my life that would cause my husband to abuse me. I'm sure the starving children and people in poverty, suffering from sorrow, famine, pain, war, heartbreak haven't exactly done anything to "reap" their fate...nor does the sexually abused child-or adults tackled by a death of a child-or many of other life tragedies. Your post is extremely confusing to me
Marriage failing isn't ALL about what both people put in-sometimes it's life circumstances-failed jobs, death of a child, abuse, personal tragedy, etc...or simply because GOD allows is for some reason we cannot begin to grasp.
