I am appalled by what happened on the 7th of October. However, I think measuring everything in the light of this in isolation from the context and history is risky and likely to lead you to a false conclusion.

The problem here is history is isolated to support modern Palestinians. Palestinians is not to speak of their race. They are ARABS. Arabs which lived in a land that was renamed Palestine by the Ancient Romans.

Given that the attack on October 7, 2023, was planned and coordinated, you have to ask yourself what was the reason for it, what was the purpose of it, and what did they expect to get out of it?

I think to stop peace talks and agreements which were about to take place with other Arabic people .

Added to that, given the complexity of the region it is reasonable to conclude that there are other players, and they may be difficult to determine at the moment.

I think we know some, but maybe not all.

As per the link I provided, the U.S. seems to be aware of the charges from South Africa:

South Africa is a failed state that sits on its hands while crime is rampant. It seems to me that they would be better served putting their own house in order before sitting in judgement on other countries.

Oh, I bet it is. This IMO is why so many Palestinians are dead. Hospitals, schools, Churches all used to shield themselves, and gain sympathy. Best weapon they have it looks like. And not in short supply for some people to arm them.

That's what's done in a court hearing; facts are presented, and at this time, that's what South Africa is doing, presenting facts.

I'm pretty sure there are some in the current South African Government that remembers how much Israel helped the White Minority Government during the Apartheid era and might want a little payback.

Maybe so, but South Africa presides over a crime rate that is one of the highest in the world. Payback? The people who are paying are South Africans. There is something about taking the log out of your own eye..............

The US is providing weapons and support to Israel, of course they're going to deny the charges and side with Israel when a case is brought against them in the International Court of Justice.

If this "court" were to decide on the side of Israel, does anyone believe Hamas would cease fire? would they subject themselves to the decision? NO they would not. So what is the point? Since the US has been watching this closely and making decisions concerning their knowledge I would have to say the purpose is propoganda.

So, that is what you think of America? They are supporting Israel because they believe it is "JUST", and are continuing to support Israel, because the continuation is Just. Hamas can stop the killing by ceasing fire. They are responsible for it.

It disheartens me to see so many Christians refuse to take a stand for Palestinians.
