No they haven't! Some of them have been quite rude with their teaching non-Orthodox beliefs and quite entitled when it is pointed out to them by continuing said behavior and arguing why they are right and we are wrong.
I'm not sure to whom you are referring, graceful. Most of the guests I see here day in, day out, are very respectful, interested in Orthodoxy, and quite willing to listen. I know I've learned a lot in here for sure. In fact, I must say that it is just that kindness and patience that I've seen in here that has made me want to be Orthodox!
In the Catholic subforum here, OBOB, and in the other online Catholic forums there is a fundamentalism and absolute crackdown on questions, alternative points of view questions, and sharing experiences or insights. I've noticed here that people agree to disagree quite civilly. I like that. I don't think anyone has usurped this wonderful TAW area one bit. One thing I've liked so much about TAW is the encouragement Orthodox give to fully analyze a subject. They don't see everything as "debating" the way OBOB seems to. STR is equally bad in that department. The pragmatic variance of ideas and willingness to let outsiders discuss they things as they search and sojourn into the Orthodox world is refreshing.

Disagreeing civilly is one thing, repeated non-Orthodox teaching over and over again is another. We welcome that, if you take it to st. Justins. It isnt appropriate in TAW.
