So, why post a Thread about "bad bibles" in the "Deeper Fellowship", section?

Well, if we have as our Thread's context "deeper fellowship with God", then that comes by having deeper fellowship with God, and God as THE WORD, ....and the word is the divine place regarding deeper fellowship with God.
If you are not a student of the word, and specifically the epistles of Paul, then you will be discovered to be a theological melting pot of heresy.
Thats a fact.

Listen....We already have the deepest personal fellowship God can give us, by birthing us into His very Spirit, as "born again".
But, as we are to "renew our minds", and "walk in the Light", same as Jesus, by right understanding of the Word, then this deeper fellowship with God and Christ can be chopped off at the root simply by using a bad bible version.

So, why are there bad bible versions?

2 reasons, that are really same one..

Many translations that exist as "the next new bible version", are really just the theological slanting of the Greek Text(s) into a "bible" that is really trying to teach you a certain theology, overall, that is strictly related to the Denomination as per the Translator(s).
If we think of Mormonism as someones rewrite of the bible into their version of "The book of mormon", then that is exactly what happens with a lot of "new" bible versions., albeit much more low key and hidden.

Now who loves this?
The Devil.
The Devil causes this to happen, so that bibles dont agree, which causes = confusion..
The Devil is the author of confusion.
For example....lets say its Sunday morning, and lets say you are trying out a new church for the first time.
So, you are sitting there in the pew listening to a sermon being preached, and you notice that the verses the Minister is reciting dont READ like your bible.
Hummmmmmmmm ???????????????
And you noticed that your bible is missing some of the verses that He is using as his sermon's material.
That's odd, huh?

So, now we see how the Devil does it.
He changes verses, and he removes verses, using a Translator who is creating the next "new bible".
That happens in many bibles, as compared to the Greek Text(s) that created them... through a translator who is DECEIVED and is trying to deceive you.
So, you are reading his or their translation, that is altered to fit their Theology, and this deceived mess is a "new bible".

So, thats pretty obvious......how thats accomplished.
And its logical that within the battle that is raging between Satan and God, you are going to find Satan's hand in all the pies.
He is putting out bibles. He is ministering from pulpits. He is building churches. He is causing you to think you can lose your salvation.
He's always busy.
Never does he rest.

Now, is your bible a dud?

I'll simply show you 2 verses, and if your Bible has altered them, or removed them, then put that bible where it belongs.

Lets pretend that you are not a deep student of the word of God.
Lets say you have not yet read the NT 30-150 times, already.
Lets say you are born again, you are "saved", you received Christ 50 mins ago, and you have never seen a bible, before today.
So, the Church gives you one today, Faux Leather, and they tell you to read the Gospel of John.

Instead you go home, and look at the Table of Contents... and quickly turn to Timothy, because your name is Timothy.
The first verse you read says.....>>"GOD was manifest in the Flesh".
And you think.....WOW.....GOD became a man....Jesus !!!!!!! I love you God, I love you Jesus. !!
Now, you didnt know that about God, till you JUST read it in that bible.
So, you read of the doctrine that teaches " the Deity of Christ."
So, what if the Devil didnt want you to Know that Jesus is God?
(He doesn't).
Then he would rewrite the verse, reader, or remove it, in his bible.
It would say......"he was manifested in the flesh"., if the verse is even there.
And you , the new christian, would think....>"he WHO"?
WHo is the "he"? Is that an angel? Is that Moses? "HE who"???
You would have NO IDEA.....and that is because the DEVIL has taken the word "GOD" out of that verse, and out of that book.
That is 1st Timothy 3:16
Look at your bible?
Is God there, or is "he"?
If "he", then get rid of that book, as its not a bible.

There are many spirits. But there is only one God.
There are many Types of Spirits, but there is only one HOLY Spirit.
There is just ONE, and He is GOD..
That is GOD, the Holy Spirit.
So, there is also : the UNHOLY Spirit., and that is demonic, that is Satan.

So, you have to have a bible that acknowledges that God is "A" Spirit.
Not just '"Spirit",... as if the bible says..>God is "spirit", then what kind? ???
What kind?
Well, that book does not say, as it has just categorized God's Spirit as the same as any and all others.
So, a real Bible that you should be studying...will read...>"God is A Spirit"....not just "spirit", But "A" Spirit..... and that way you know that He is a SPECIFIC TYPE of Spirit, vs, just any, which could be The UNHOLY Spirit< for example.

That is really really important to KNOW, = that distinction, and if your bible says..>"God is Spirit", then you dont have a bible, you just have a book, and you need to get yourself a good Bible that teaches that God is "A" Spirit.

Iow don’t use a JW’s bible. KJV only bugs me at the content of the living creatures around the throne. Every other translation says ‘they’ that assumes they are elder leading angels. It is obvious that you know nothing about the art/principles/science of Bible translation. It's clear that you don't understand that there is no exact correlation between the earliest and/or best Hebrew, Aramaic, and/or Koine Greek texts and English, whether from the 16th century or the 21st. To use a single word as an example makes this blatantly obvious.

The best Bible for anyone is the version that "speaks" to them with the greatest level of understanding and comprehension. There is no best single translation.

Personally, I prefer the NET, the NIV, and the NRSV (in that order). I also like the 1599 Geneva Bible for both the interesting Englyshe and the marginal notes.

If you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit to lead you into the Truth. Truth is not a thing, He is a Person, Lord Jesus. No one learns to fly by reading a book. There is no "Flying for Dummies". Flying instructors go up with the trainee to teach them, not park on the radio telling them what to do. You can learn the original Greek and Hebrew, get a doctorate in Divinity and be no more born again than my cat. On the other hand, you may know only the bible verses that an evangelist used to lead you to Christ. Then you are born again and you have everything within you that you will ever have. Why? Because you have Jesus. From then on it is a matter of discovering what God has done for us in the new birth and learning to live in the light of it.

KJVO drivel. 1 Timothy 3:16 is the difference between ΟΣ and ΘΣ. The original had the relative pronoun, ΟΣ. Some well meaning scribe put a line through it and changed it to God.

1 John 5:7 is in only about 3 manuscripts, total. None of them before the 14th century.

If you cared one bit about the devil changing the Bible, you'd abandon the KJV over these two verses.

No offense, but it never occurred to me the "he" in 1 Tim. 3:16 was anyone other than the Lord Jesus Christ. (ESV)

Well, i realized that when people would read my 2 verses, there would always be the readers who would not realize that when you read "HE", in a bad bible version, AFTER you have been taught that Jesus is the HE, .....then this person is going to come to my Thread and pretend they always knew that "he" was Jesus.
But in fact, before you were taught this, you had no idea that Jesus was God.
And so, had you read that verse before you were taught that Jesus is God, then you would have had no prior understanding that would inform you..

If you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit to lead you into the Truth..

That sounds very spiritual, but i will place a bet that you sin and confess.
So, if you are doing this, then why hasn't the "holy Spirit" led you OUT of that spiritual deception?
Answer:, because you have replaced Truth with self righteousness.

And so, the devil builds his theology on lies, confusion, and the self righteousness he uses that is typically found in a believer that leads them.

Its not "drivel" to take God out of the Bible, and its not "drivel" to not draw the distinction between the unholy spirit and the Holy Spirit.
That you find this to be "drivel" speaks loudly of your type of Faith and speaks volumes regarding your particular Theological understanding.

I use ESVS (ESV with strongs). This eliminates the need for KJV as I have access to several lexicons in both the Greek and Hebrew texts.

So what does that prove?
For example im trained in Manuscript Evidence.
Yet, if i am not able to discern truth, then all i have is a headful of knowledge and a nice Resume`.

So, that is why i wrote the Thread, as this gives Satan's devices the exposure they deserve.
Now, many are not going to believe that the Devil could possibly be in the game of trying to corrupt God's Word......and so, they will remain deceived, which makes the devil smile.

So, why post a Thread about "bad bibles" in the "Deeper Fellowship", section?

Well, if we have as our Thread's context "deeper fellowship with God", then that comes by having deeper fellowship with God, and God as THE WORD, ....and the word is the divine place regarding deeper fellowship with God.
If you are not a student of the word, and specifically the epistles of Paul, then you will be discovered to be a theological melting pot of heresy.
Thats a fact.

Listen....We already have the deepest personal fellowship God can give us, by birthing us into His very Spirit, as "born again".
But, as we are to "renew our minds", and "walk in the Light", same as Jesus, by right understanding of the Word, then this deeper fellowship with God and Christ can be chopped off at the root simply by using a bad bible version.

So, why are there bad bible versions?

2 reasons, that are really same one..

Many translations that exist as "the next new bible version", are really just the theological slanting of the Greek Text(s) into a "bible" that is really trying to teach you a certain theology, overall, that is strictly related to the Denomination as per the Translator(s).
If we think of Mormonism as someones rewrite of the bible into their version of "The book of mormon", then that is exactly what happens with a lot of "new" bible versions., albeit much more low key and hidden.

Now who loves this?
The Devil.
The Devil causes this to happen, so that bibles dont agree, which causes = confusion..
The Devil is the author of confusion.
For example....lets say its Sunday morning, and lets say you are trying out a new church for the first time.
So, you are sitting there in the pew listening to a sermon being preached, and you notice that the verses the Minister is reciting dont READ like your bible.
Hummmmmmmmm ???????????????
And you noticed that your bible is missing some of the verses that He is using as his sermon's material.
That's odd, huh?

So, now we see how the Devil does it.
He changes verses, and he removes verses, using a Translator who is creating the next "new bible".
That happens in many bibles, as compared to the Greek Text(s) that created them... through a translator who is DECEIVED and is trying to deceive you.
So, you are reading his or their translation, that is altered to fit their Theology, and this deceived mess is a "new bible".

So, thats pretty obvious......how thats accomplished.
And its logical that within the battle that is raging between Satan and God, you are going to find Satan's hand in all the pies.
He is putting out bibles. He is ministering from pulpits. He is building churches. He is causing you to think you can lose your salvation.
He's always busy.
Never does he rest.

Now, is your bible a dud?
Is is a mess?
Is it a phony?
Is it a masterpiece of darkness?

Lets find out....

I'll simply show you 2 verses, and if your Bible has altered them, or removed them, then put that bible where it belongs.
In the Trash, in the Dumpster.

I could show you a 100 verses, but these 2 will do, if you able to discern it.

Let me show you...

Lets pretend that you are not a deep student of the word of God.
Lets say you have not yet read the NT 30-150 times, already.
Lets say you are born again, you are "saved", you received Christ 50 mins ago, and you have never seen a bible, before today.
So, the Church gives you one today, Faux Leather, and they tell you to read the Gospel of John.

Instead you go home, and look at the Table of Contents... and quickly turn to Timothy, because your name is Timothy.
The first verse you read says.....>>"GOD was manifest in the Flesh".
And you think.....WOW.....GOD became a man....Jesus !!!!!!! I love you God, I love you Jesus. !!
Now, you didnt know that about God, till you JUST read it in that bible.
So, you read of the doctrine that teaches " the Deity of Christ."
So, what if the Devil didnt want you to Know that Jesus is God?
(He doesn't).
Then he would rewrite the verse, reader, or remove it, in his bible.
It would say......"he was manifested in the flesh"., if the verse is even there.
And you , the new christian, would think....>"he WHO"?
WHo is the "he"? Is that an angel? Is that Moses? "HE who"???
You would have NO IDEA.....and that is because the DEVIL has taken the word "GOD" out of that verse, and out of that book.
That is 1st Timothy 3:16
Look at your bible?
Is God there, or is "he"?
If "he", then get rid of that book, as its not a bible.

Next....

There are many spirits. But there is only one God.
There are many Types of Spirits, but there is only one HOLY Spirit.
There is just ONE, and He is GOD..
That is GOD, the Holy Spirit.
So, there is also : the UNHOLY Spirit., and that is demonic, that is Satan.

So, you have to have a bible that acknowledges that God is "A" Spirit.
Not just '"Spirit",... as if the bible says..>God is "spirit", then what kind? ???
What kind?
Well, that book does not say, as it has just categorized God's Spirit as the same as any and all others.
So, a real Bible that you should be studying...will read...>"God is A Spirit"....not just "spirit", But "A" Spirit..... and that way you know that He is a SPECIFIC TYPE of Spirit, vs, just any, which could be The UNHOLY Spirit< for example.
See that?
That is really really important to KNOW, = that distinction, and if your bible says..>"God is Spirit", then you dont have a bible, you just have a book, and you need to get yourself a good Bible that teaches that God is "A" Spirit.

Thank you. Welcome to CF. God bless you as you continue to delve with that "spiritual shovel" into His Word, with His wisdom, discernment, annd clarity that He grants to all who ask for it. Jeremiah 33:3 comes to mind....He really DOES, through His Holy Spirit, show/teach us new things we did not know previously. Proverbs 2 comes to mind as well, regarding "digging" into His Word, and finding "treasure" there.

Similar to an above post, i currently read the KJB.....cuz i don't want to "miss a thing" hahahaa
