Justification of their own faith...you know, we have all the answers, we're the true faith...that type of thing.

Puts God in a box IMO, and if the bible is any indication, God can't be placed in a box.

I'm sure most christian refer to God as "Dios" Most christians probably speak spanish as it is the second most spoken language in the world and most spanish speakers are catholic.

"Allah" is a perfectly valid word for the Godhead of the Holy Trinity.

Do not forget that many Arabs were Christians before they were Muslim.

Acts 2:11 (NKJV)
Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.

Allah is the Arabic word for God, and ignorant Christians who look at the Christian faith as a Western religion only, often ignore the history of the word Allah. There are still living Christians today who use the word Allah, and to them it has nothing to do with any "moon god."

I'm sure that depends on the spatiality of where they converted, and under what denominational view of Christianity they converted to.

I'll shoot straight. The word Allah means God in Arabic. Islam uses the same word for God as Arabic Christians do, as illustrated in the following prayer used in Arabic Orthodox Churches:
قدوسٌ الله ، قدوسٌ القوي ، قدوسٌ الذي لا يموت إرحمنا (Quddouson Allââh, Quddouson ul-qawee, Quddouson allazee la yamout, Irhamna)
translation: Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

However, Muslims do not worship the same Allah, for their Allah is an Allah of retribution, judgment, and anger, leading into a life of heresy from Christ. The one true Allah is the Allah of Scripture in the Trinity.

There is actually a point to it. Since the Jews rejected Christ, they rejected God. Since the beginning of the Church, those Jews who rejected Christ have erected a god which is fundamentally different than the true God. Therefore, it is a false god that Jews worship. As Christ said, they worship what they do not know, but we worship what we know, for salvation is of Christ, in His Church, and not of the Jews any longer.

I'm not certain, though, that Arab Christians called the Godhead of the Trinity "Allah" before the seventh century. I'd be curious if anyone who reads Arabic could look into it. The Patrologia Orientalis is the standard collection of non-Greek Eastern Fathers in their original languages, but while a lot of them (Aphrahat, Ephrem the Syrian, Isaac of Ninevah) wrote in Syriac, there are a couple, I think, who wrote in Arabic prior to the advent of Islam.
