Is touching yourself a sin?

masturbation is a sin. That#s why they call it touching yourself.
Bating the master. Every time you have a [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]. You make it more likely that Jesus will want to as well, if he's connected to you.

having said that, it's not something I've got under control yet. But if there wasn't anything wrong with masturbation, then why would "wanker" be a term of abuse?

You made nothing resembling a logical point. And it is spelled masturbation.

Mastrubation in itself is not a sin. (Rom, 14.14). But it can easily become one, or lead to one. That is why we often regard it as a sin.
If you have dirty thoughts, look at pictures, movies with "bad" input and so on, you are comitting a sin. And in that matter it is wrong.
It can also lead to the need of more sexual stimulanse, and the need for more pleasure, and that is tempting ourselves, witch Jesus warned us very much of!

So, theoreticly its not a sin. But its close to impossible to mastrubate without sinning, or tempting yourself...

I don't know of any sources - though I could find one if I wasn't so..lazy, but that is actually what they taught us in Catholic school

you need better sex ed if you dont know about wet dreams. Our schools fail us. Testicles constantly make sperm and when the sperm ducts are full your body disposes of it.

My touching yourself hasn't become addictive or a stronghold. I also don't lust after anyone or myself when I'm doing it. I think if someone is experiencing these things then they are probably sinning. I go months without it even crossing my mind. It isn't fun or that big of a deal to me...it's just sometimes you need to relieve the tension. I think it's good for the body.

Following the logic of this thread thus far, I'm going to have to rethink the Catholic church's stance that the act of intercourse can only be done with the intention of producing an offspring.
