I won't go into details because I don't think that I am allowed to within this section, but I was sexually assaulted 4 years ago. After it happened I would have panic attacks quite a few times a week, I would be afraid to fall asleep around others because of how I would react to them. Two years later I stopped having them, but as of this year they started coming back. Sometimes it happens when I am sleep and sometimes when I'm up. When I am sleep If I feel like I'm being chocked and it caused me to have one. The closer to the anniversary of it the worse it gets. I have been having them since June. Only one person knows that I have them but no one knows why I have them. The guy used to be my best friend and we shared classes together in college and I stopped going because I couldn't take seeing him everyday as if nothing happened. We still live in the same neighborhood and all.
I am not sure what to do, I thought about talking to one of my friends about it, but I don't want to cry or have a panic attack
