  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4), one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Mark 12:29), and one God (Ephesians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Mark 12:29). God the Father is a Spirit (John 4:23-24). God the Father is the Lord (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). God the Father is God. (Ephesians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6) Jesus is the Lord (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Corinthians 12:3). The Lord is that Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17). The Holy Ghost is a Spirit (John 7:37-39). There is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4). There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6). And there is one God (Ephesians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6). Jesus is God (Hebrews 1:8-9). The Holy Ghost is God (Acts of the Apostles 5:3-4). They are the same Spirit, the same Lord, and the same God (1 Corinthians 12:4-6). The Lord is God (Mark 12:29, John 20:28, Acts of the Apostles 4:24).

That being said, there is a distinction in the members of the Triune Godhead (John 15:26, John 16:27-28, 2 John 1:9).
