"The earth trembled...." You don't think people the past didn't experience earthquakes? Now that's earthquakes and not Earthquakes I'm referring to.Whether you are talking about what is under the dirt or how the planet moves in the solar system, both are moving. You either have to reject plate tectonism or heliocentrism. Take your pick.

They ascribed earthquakes to supernatural events, such as God shaking the earth.
If you can't accept evolution because it "goes against the Bible", there are plenty of other scientific theories you need to get rid of. Plate tectonics is one of them. Heliocentrism is another.
"First, . . . to want to affirm that in reality the sun is at the center of the world and only turns on itself without moving from east to west, and the earth . . . revolves with great speed about the sun . . . is a very dangerous thing, likely not only to irritate all scholastic philosophers and theologians, but also to harm the Holy Faith by rendering Holy Scripture false."--Cardinal Bellarmine, 1615
The scriptures doesn't claim all earthquakes are supernatural or directly caused by God. Now it does claim the mountains tremble in His present.

The bible also claims looking directly at the face of god is a death sentence, even though there are also biblical figures that do just that and don't die
The Bible claims that the earth does not move. Plate tectonics claims that it does. Who are you going to believe, the Bible or science?
They saw the Glory not looking directly at the face of God. You can't look directly at the sun either without dying.
Not directly.
Well they knew about earthquakes so obviously that not what the scripture are saying.
Job states the earth hangs on nothing which he is referring to the planet.
You are referring to the sun's electromagnetic waves.
Ok. I going to have to spell it out for you. It means the earth will keep it's place.Yes, they allowed God to violate non-moving earth.
Then it turns around and says it rests on foundations. You don't need to hang something when it is on foundations. It's a bit like a car on a front lawn. It hangs from nothing because it rests on cinder blocks.
To actually see the sun directly you have to be extremely close. The exact same thing with seeing God , we can only see Him a farther off. When Moses want to see God Glory God had to put his hand over His Glory while Moses looked. Of course God didn't really have hands it only suggested Moses could only see a small faction of His Glory.-_- you need to justify why you think looking at the sun directly would result in death

...
why do you think we have to be close to the sun to see it? And if that were the case, it wouldn't be looking at the sun that killed you, but rather the heat coming off of it that would.
Now you starting to get the picture when it's written God is a consuming fire.
Except god physically brings Moses the tablets that the Ten Commandments are written on. Moses got too physically close for god to be literally like the sun. And you still don't have to be physically close to something to directly see it
