Are there any kind of intervention services that could help you on your behalf? Someone to represent you. Whether its through general social services or services for seniors/elderly? You could talk to them about your husband controlling you. They could represent you somehow. Or maybe there is some other area of your life they could help you with.

I have just gad another really bad blow. I can hardly talk about it.

It came from the hispital. Had a phone call from them T 4pm today.

I hate this town.

Michie, we hav e someone who cleans twice a week.

The problem is that my husband cancels things that are offered t o me .

I have no way of deali ng w ith this through being unable to see.

The police tried to see me. They couldnt and when he found out they s topped trying to see me.

It is a c omplicated story so wont bore you with it but you would need to understand total control to understand. I used to be totally independent but am not now because of my gealth. Best not to go there too my

The polce rang my labdline one day, anting to talk to me, but hubby answered the darn phone. The woman said it was about equipment. He JNEW it wasn't. So his antennae were up. They had been TOLD not to yse the landline and had agreed to only use email as he listens to everything. He wanted to neet with me, but there is no way of my getting anywhere on my own without he takes me. If they picked me up,even plain clothes he would guess what was going on. Stupid police. Now, he knows what is going on, wherwas he did not, before!

I hate all this because ppl tend to blame me for not getting out. But in my state if health it is almost impossible. Tgere is no place to go.

I get tired off having to defend what I am doung and how I am reacting and it gappensnoften, once ppl here jnow what is going on. Itgers think he is such a wondrful man that they do not believe me. I lose the will to luve

LOL Michie. You know, I feel things mught be a bit different in the States to here, though I don't know.

But you seem lately, after 46 years of marriage, there has been some suggestion that he mught benon the autistic scale. His brain cannot take things in. It is a battle with him all the time. NOTHING works. And everything has been tried. Every approach. Mi have been telling at him today - i am jyst worn out with it all! I am not in good health and blind which makes a difference. We used to not see each other much and led independent luves - but my gealth changed all that

I feel better now, because my bedrock is back. I am systainedn only by my faith but when that goes ( which isn't often) then I am thrown. Mi know that He Is , again now . So that is. And I agree. But for her it'll be a million times harder because of her disability. I have come to realize that we take our ability to do the simplest things for granted.
