I tend to split my time between AOG and Baptist.
I'm weird that way, though.

An ex-AoG here...
My father was an AoG pastor. I did my undergrad work at Southeastern University (AoG), then went on to Assemblies of God Theological Seminary before transferring to St. Michaels.
I still have close ties with my AoG friends and minister in their churches.
I hate to disappoint you, but as someone who has been to quite a few AoG General Councils over the years, as well as having good friends and family in various positions of responsibility within the AoG (pastors, presbyters, college presidents, District Superintendents, etc.) I can assure you that I saw far more politics as men fought for power/authority in the AoG than I've seen in any of the sacramental churches.![]()
This cant be good news......
In the AoG....The Holy Spirit is a very present God in charge of the church.
In Catholic Church, Jesus left men in charge and gave them authority to make changes.

And you may not be aware that there are actually far more Spirit-filled Catholics than all the other Pentecostal/Charismatic groups put together.
I don't want to argue with you over this, since it would only derail the thread here... but your post shows that you're just not that aware of what the Catholic churches really believe/practice.

My possition is that ALL authority is given to Jesus...In AoG the Word of God has final authority and not the Church over the word.
Be blessed Father Rick....We'll play tag later.
God bless

Here it is:Hi,
What's covenant? If you'd rather, you can PM me instead of posting it here. If that's more comfortable for you.
