Yea just let it ring and go to voicemail.
If they know you they would txt.
You'd know when someone rings you is genuine because they won't ring when you in the middle of dinner.

But if it's telemarketers I just say..can I call you back..and then 100% of the time they don't leave a number. lol.

When my phone rings I just say "hm ugh" or "..............(sigh) hey" or "yes?"

Is there something more biblical I can be saying instead?

Are you talking answering machine, or actually you answering the phone?
