Except being taken away is equal to being caught up which is the rapture and the ones remaining on the Earth are the ones Christ slaughtered in Rev 19.

The rest of you can stay here if ya want. lol I don't wanna be here during all this time of troubles as I have had enough problems before the "great" tribulation, So I intend to take the first buss out.

Because of the confusion of many between tribulation now, the Great Tribulation, and God's Wrath to come (even though He showed His Wrath many times in the Bible. Not counting Revelation, where did He show His wrath even in the New Testament.

It sounded like a swipe to me and also condescending. As I said your understanding of RC doctrine maybe just a tad lacking. I am not a RC but I do understand why they believe some of the things they believe.

As far as getting personal goes I would suggest that your comment about a 21 year blaaahblaaaaah was directed and personal toward the 21 year old you referred to in the post I responded to.

Look at the information. The discussion has got way off topic. Maryiology is not Biblical. There now is only one way to Salvation and only one Intercessor to God the Father for true Christians. But there are so many Christian church problems in almost all churches. We are far from the First Century Christianity. It is mostly people-pleasing instead of God-pleasing. And there is so little careful Bible teaching and Bible learning and Bible study discussion groups. So many are not ready for the future events that are clearly stated in the New Testament. And of course there is so much spiritual warfare happening and only a small amount of professing Christians know enough about such and put on the Spiritual armor on every day. And where is Christ-likeness being manifested?

I am ready for whatever God does in stopping the Age of Grace. I just keep doing the Two Great Commandments and Jude 3 & 20-23. I am thankful that I was born again on May 25, 1967.

A pre-tribulation rapture is not supported by Scripture which teaches that "we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom," Acts 14:22
The rapture occurs "at the last trumpet," 1Cor 15:52 and there are SEVEN trumpets preceded by an earthquake in Rev 8:5. It will be big enough that we may not need to read about it and it initiates "the day of the Lord"--the end-time period for America. It is the "sudden destruction that comes when they say 'Peace and safety' (the UN theme last year had those words).

What I believe happened at the cross was that God poured out His wrath for sin upon Christ in our place (Isaiah 53:6, 8, 10). Jesus appeased the wrath of God, this is what propitiation means (Romans 3:25-26; 1 John 2:2).

My main point was the timing.
Obviously we are dealing with a sovereign omnipotent God.

I explained what I disagree with. I know you believe there is a distinction but there isn't. Paul knew about the endtimes and the trumps and in that letter he speaks of the last trump. Rev didn't need to exist. Paul had the knowledge and spoke to these people in person and only reminds them about a small part of what he taught them. I feel it's important to show the errors or pre-trib whenever it is being promoted so people can at least have a fair chance at deciding which is true or not true on the Rapture.
