Hello
My last church said the Mark of the Beast will be a computer chip with three sets of six digit numbers, a chip implanted under the skin and scanned.
The church I'm visiting now says no, it won't be that.
What do you think?
Because the technology for the chip seems to be coming!
Sure. Why not?
People use chips to insure return of their lost cats and dogs. The infrared scanner scans the area the chip is traditionally implanted in,just beneath the dermis layer of the skin, and all the owners contact information, including the pet's name, appears on the scanner gun.
Pets may be said to be the first experiment to see if people would acclimate to having a chip implanted into a family member. Under the pretense if lost, they shall stand a better chance of being returned if found.
When I worked in Hospital there was talk that chips, due to the number of infant abductions from nursery's all around the country, and other child abduction reports, that shortly after birth parent(s) would have an option of having a chip implanted into the heel of their newborn.
Placed there at the same time as the foot prints were taken shortly after birth.
I left the program before I heard if this was implemented anywhere in the country.
A friend of mine who owns a retail shop just a few miles from me, told me about a regular customer of hers, just a few months ago who'd gone on vacation.
She'd traveled from the west coast across the country and back to the east, having flown to LA to see her daughter and then rented a car to return home. Stopping to see all the major tourist sights on the way. Yellow Stone, Grand Canyon, etc...
While in the mid-west she stopped for gas at a mini-market. Having filled up at the pump with her debit card, she then ventured into the store for drinks for the next leg of the trip.
In front of her was an older woman with an arm full of stuff waiting in the line for check out. Once her items were tallied, this woman, rather than reach for cash or a credit or debit card, simply put the back of her hand up toward the counter to pay for her purchase.
And there, turned toward the customer side of the counter, was what looks like your average infrared scanner gun used at grocery stores. Only it was in a bracket on the counter and more elongated than those regular style guns.
This woman waved the back of her hand beneath the red light of that scanner, when it came time to pay, and the register then spit out a receipt for the purchase, as it was paid in full.
This woman who knows my friend very well, said she left her drinks on the counter, put her cash back in her pocket and fled the store.
She couldn't believe she'd just seen a woman pay for her purchase with a swipe of her hand.
Chip implant!
So yes, the mark of the beast could very well be a chip. After all, we know the powers that be that run this country are well aware of the impact fear has on the psyche. People will comply with just about anything so as to feel safe.
With all the ID theft going on, personal security at a risk, bank accounts being hijacked because someone uses a debit card in the wrong place, or a credit card that links to that account, electronic hijacking of your credit cards, debit cards, etc...
What better way to persuade compliance to a new personal security ID program?
An organic chip implant, sold with the assurance it's safe because you've seen it used on your pets for years, right? That guarantees your ID and privacy is safe. All your accounts remain your own if you're implanted with a chip designed especially for you. Hijack proof, because it uses your DNA to sync it with your personal information. Like a PIN number only it's your genetic code.
Sure. People would implant just to be safe in their finances. And then, after say a decade or more, we'll be told that program is so successful that in order to combat counterfeiting of currency, we're to become, by law, a cashless society.
And that's when it's over!
Watch the movie, "Demolition Man". A Sly Stallone flick that is typical of his early work, and yet that's not the point. The point is the society that is depicted in that movie. It's not Hollywood fiction, in so much as it is a very likely future scenario playing out as B-movie fluff.
Especially those who are the under ground dwellers. Those who are not registered in the system of trade and values. Who aren't implanted with the chips that allow those who are compliant to the new rules to eat, obtain housing, get a job, etc... They're the scavengers of that top side society. Dennis Leary plays that groups leader.
It's a heck of a movie if you read between the lines.
Especially when you consider, we now have the technology to make prophecy, and the worst fears about it, come to fruition.
And the salvation from that, is able to be brought forth as well.
Simply comply with the new rules, and it'll all be OK.
Look at how America's society changed after 9-11, with the passage of the U.S. Patriot Act.
And now we have evolved unto the passage into law of the
National Defense Authorization Act. (S.1867)
Nothing new under the sun.
It just seems new to us. But fear has always been the great motivator. As history well records.
Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.
