Your opinion of what is definitive in scripture is highly suspect, especially considering what we see with direct observations of the Moon. The moon is not a reflected light source; it is a distinct luminary. Scripture is definitive on this point. See THE MOON (Part I).

Please elaborate, and by the way, it is unnecessary to include ad hominem phrases in your responses.Your opinion of what is definitive in scripture is highly suspect, especially considering what we see with direct observations of the Moon.
The Sun is very bright. It emits a lot of light. One would expect light from the Sun to reflect off the Moon. By amazing coincidence, if we plot out the orbit of the Moon with respect to the Earth and Sun according to the law of gravity, the phases of the Moon match up exactly to what we would expect of the Moon reflecting sunlight. The parts of the Moon that are not in view of the Sun are dark, as one would expect if the Moon isn't producing its own light. Please elaborate, and by the way, it is unnecessary to include ad hominem phrases in your responses.
I would like to know how said measuring instruments objectively distinguish between generative and reflective light. The Sun is very bright. It emits a lot of light. Then of course there are all the measuring instruments we can point at the Moon to determine how much light the Moon is actually producing on its own, which is no light at all.
First off, we measure the amount of light to be exactly what we expect to be from reflected sunlight, No more, no less.I would like to know how said measuring instruments objectively distinguish between generative and reflective light.
Nope. The Scripture says nothing about where moonlight comes from. You infer that it must mean that the moon produces light itself. The inference is entirely yours, and it is obviously incorrect. The moon is not a reflected light source; it is a distinct luminary. Scripture is definitive on this point. See THE MOON (Part I).
Then Google is your friend, and you'll find no dearth of information to help you. But again, it won't help your propensity to infer stuff from Scripture that simply isn't there.I would like to know how said measuring instruments objectively distinguish between generative and reflective light.
There weren't any there. Inference again; "reading between the lines".Please elaborate, and by the way, it is unnecessary to include ad hominem phrases in your responses.

The measured amount of light ascribed as reflective as well as spectrographic results being attributed to surface composition are indirect inferences based on unprovable heliocentric assumptions (including the assumption that the moon is a solid mass), and hence, do not constitute definitive, scientific evidence concerning the genesis and fundamental nature of moonlight.First off, we measure the amount of light to be exactly what we expect to be from reflected sunlight, No more, no less.
Second, spectroscopy is used to analyze the interaction of the sunlight with the surface of the Moon. The light is altered as it is reflected, which allows us to determine the composition of the Moon's surface. Light magically emitted from the Moon wouldn't have the same distribution of wavelengths and frequencies.
If this is true then why does a total solar eclipse result in darkness? The moon is not a reflected light source; it is a distinct luminary. Scripture is definitive on this point. See THE MOON (Part I).
I'm sure astronomers and astrophysicists everywhere will take your esteemed assessment into account. The measured amount of light ascribed as reflective as well as spectrographic results being attributed to surface composition are indirect inferences based on unprovable heliocentric assumptions (including the assumption that the moon is a solid mass), and hence, do not constitute definitive, scientific evidence concerning the genesis and fundamental nature of moonlight.
That, as they say in London, is a load of cobblersThe measured amount of light ascribed as reflective as well as spectrographic results being attributed to surface composition are indirect inferences based on unprovable heliocentric assumptions (including the assumption that the moon is a solid mass), and hence, do not constitute definitive, scientific evidence concerning the genesis and fundamental nature of moonlight.

Albedo is a measure of reflectivity. II would like to know how said measuring instruments objectively distinguish between generative and reflective light.
Quite beautiful over 14 billion years.-
Here is sciences sun and this is not the same sun as the sun God created, that is described in The Bible.
