Many other expeditions have been authorised however, including the two men who independantly crossed the continent of Antarctica via the South pole on foot a few years ago, and the adventurer Dick Smith who circumnavigated the globe via the North and South poles by plane.

Well I'm convinced.

Ok, 'Folks you are now flying over Antarctica'. Well I'll dismiss everything else I learned of a forensic nature, the Captain has spoken, and I seen it with me own eyes. There was even a flashing cabin light.

Now, there's a little something we in the trade like to call 'evidence'. It's a bit zany, a bit wacky, cause sometimes it leads you where you don't want to go. Which eventually is the foot of the cross. Hard to have cardinal points on a spinning ball in space. There's no absolutes, nothing to hang on to but fantasies.

So I thank God that He's made the earth just the way it is, the way scripture tells us it is, the way our experiments confirm it to be. A little hearsay a mile above happy feet ain't going to change that.

Ok, so the map he showed in the video is Hammond's Air Age Map of The World (Polar Projection ~1940s) which does not appear to come in an electronic form. A search of numerous sites on flight navigation make no mention of such a map, nor of autopilot systems having maps at all. On many planes you fix the altitude and heading and the plane will follow that course until it runs out of fuel or hits a mountain. More advanced flight navigation systems can be programmed to follow a series of waypoints which are radio beacons the navigation system can lock into, and modern flight navigation systems use GPS satelites.

So, not a clue seems pretty accurate.

How would I know where I was? I'm on a plane several hours from point of takeoff looking down at ice sheets and being told it's Antarctica. It may be, so what? If that would satisfy you as evidence that we live on a spinning ball in space, that's your business. Me, I don't have such great faith.

Yes, 'Satin' is so cunning that he arranged for the Bible to consistently describe a flat motionless and domed earth, fooling everyone until around 400 years ago. Are you suggesting that because the earth is spinning approximately 1000 miles per hour that we should fly off of it? If so you could always test that theory by sitting on a merry go round and spin it 1 revolution per hour and see if you notice and centrifugal force. You’d be spinning 24 times faster than the earth at a radius 2 million times smaller than the earth’s radius. So if you can’t feel any centrifugal force spinning 24 times faster at a radius 2 million times tighter your definitely not going to feel the earth’s rotation.

I've decided that it doesn't make any difference to me one way or the other. For me neither a flat earth or a globe earth is going to change my faith any. And outside of the spiritual aspect, I still don't care. It's not going to change anything for me one way or another. So I'm going to bow out of these particular discussions. Auto pilot does not need to have the map in electronic form to be what flights are based on.
All that is needed is for the calculations to be based on that format of the map of the earth.

Still no proof of him being clueless. IMO.

He claims that EVERY plane that has autopilot, this is the map that is used. He gives no references, doesn't name the map, gives absolutely nothing more than just his say so, and you call my retort weak?

No worries. What it does change is one's understanding of the extent to which the devil deceiveth the whole world. And from that, an insight into what Christ revealed about the nature of our struggle on an earthly level and how far gone the world really is.
