Yes, and you?
No need for detail, but what was it that you forgave them of?

Yes, and you?
For man to forgive is really to un-judge. It was a betrayal by an employees.
So that you will know that The Son of Man has authority, on earth, to forgive sins, (un judge, reverse a judgment) (remove, correct, or fix a consequence/repair a rift/separation) Now get up, pick up your cot and walk...For man to forgive is really to un-judge. It was a betrayal by an employees.
You forgave him of as much as the lamp meant to you... If you loved it very much, you forgave much... If you you only cared for or about it (or the money) only a little, then you forgave little...If you broke my $1,000 lamp, what have I forgiven you, if I do?
I forgive you for breaking the lamp. Is there a point behind these elementary questions?
Depends, if you want the thousand repaid or if you forgive the debt. Even if repaid you may still not forgive and hold a grudge. God forgives and forgets. We are expected to do the same in our relations with others. If the value of the lamp is $1,000, and you broke it, how much money do you owe me?

No I'm not being evasive, you are trying to make an "eye for an eye" argument .Man has a difficult time accepting forgiveness, something for nothing, the Love of God. Pride wants to even things up on account. It depends?! You are intentionally being evasive.

"“Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” And Jesus answered Peter: “Not only seven times but even to seventy times and seven. Therefore may the kingdom of heaven be likened to a certain king who ordered a financial reckoning with his stewards. And when they had begun to conduct this examination of accounts, one of his chief retainers was brought before him confessing that he owed his king ten thousand talents. Now this officer of the king's court pleaded that hard times had come upon him, and that he did not have wherewith to pay this obligation. And so the king commanded that his property be confiscated, and that his children be sold to pay his debt. When this chief steward heard this stern decree, he fell down on his face before the king and implored him to have mercy and grant him more time, saying, `Lord, have a little more patience with me, and I will pay you all.' And when the king looked upon this negligent servant and his family, he was moved with compassion. He ordered that he should be released, and that the loan should be wholly forgiven."
Confess your sins and they will be forgiven. Go and sin no more.
Because they didn't write that Moses crossed the Sea of Reeds, instead of the Red Sea? or that the Tabernacle in the Wilderness was made of "durable leather," rather than badgers' skins? or they used instruments of bronze, instead of brass? or Nymphas is a "she"? or ...
What's that have to do with anything?I happen to know all about Norse mythology's goddess Hel and her afterlife realm Helheim.
"Hell" appears some 50+ times in the KJB, from Deuteronomy 32:22 to Revelation 20:14.Lazarus Short said:I also know that the word "hel" appears twice in the 1611 KJV.
I'll take your word for it.Lazarus Short said:So tell me, "hel" is pagan, yes?
Then why did Job, Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Jonah, and Habakkuk mention it?Lazarus Short said:But then, "hell" is Christian?
Apparently It's you who doesn't understand forgiveness and love. God is a loving and forgiving father. Inherited sin debt is a false doctrine from primitive religion. Death is normal for man unless they are first translated in which case they don't die a natural death at all.You do not even understand what the word, "forgive" means. Your entire theory is built on a foundation of ignorance. Forgiveness is NEVER without cost.
God cannot, "just" forgive, anymore than I can pretend my lamp wasn't worth $1,000.
The debt of man toward God is real, and the penalty for breaking the covenant is also real. Death was the penalty. You can bear that penalty yourself or you can, by grace, through faith let Christ bear it for you.
We are also told of a virtual explosion of alleged contact with UB deities over the past decade. Urantians claim they have increasingly been contacted with end-times messages from the celestials. Like other occult movements such as Theosophy, the Urantian revelation provided the seedbed for a new crop of contactees or “Transmitter-Receivers” (Urantian term) to appear later and diversify into new submovements.

The confusion comes from the fact that Eve and Adam specifically lost their immortality status. They could no longer eat of the tree of life and live on indefinitely.
The creation of the doctrine of Adam bring death to earth didn't consider how crowded the earth would be if man didn't die.Its normal to die and move on to the next world.
Salvation is by faith. If estranged from God in rebellion and have a change of heart, then we ask for and accept forgiveness because God is just that kind of guy.![]()
You have unnecessarily confused things.
I'm a disciple of Jesus, of his original teachings. I belive he is the Christ. One would have to ask which Christian doctrine as there are thousands. His replies do not seem to resemble Christian doctrine.
If you are correct, it would explain a lot.
