Oh, it was a CF friend that I began to pray with and get to know better, and it just sorta happened. We are both still surprised but we are not rushing, and keeping God as our primary focus. It's in His hands.

She's amazing though, she really is.

Hey...I'd have a blast being a wingman. It would be like elementary school again where you could run over to a bunch of girls and go "hey, my friend Bob thinks you're cute...what do you think of him?"

That would get me social and talking to people I'd never have a reason to say "boo" to otherwise. And I wouldn't have to worry about my love life...I'd be too busy living vicariously. (I might even get noticed because I'd be so animated when having that kind of fun).

While that sounds like a good idea, I think the word is "wingperson."

LOL @ BR. I live my life vicariously through a friend here. She has the most 'flirts' going on. I just read about it and enjoy myself. It's easier that way.

Well I'm glad my willful abuse of the English language wasn't necessary to make the point of how ridiculous that sort of thing can get. Chalk this up as a victory in equal rights! You can probably make as good a wingman as anyone, aviator or not

Well, I had a good female friend. However,she moved over 90 miles away.We met at a christian singles'dance. She was unemployed.When I became unemployed for about eight months,we saw a lot of each other. We went to Maui for a few days.No,we WERE not intimate with each other. I was definately in her FRIEND ZONE.
When I found a job,we were not able to see each other often. If she was still living only six miles away from me,I would be delighted to have her as a wingwoman.
She was something else. She said that I was not her type. I was cool with that. She said that she goes for thin,Italian and Spanish men. She also told me that she does not like Catholics. I told her" D.....,you are emotionally shooting yourself in the foot! Don't you know that MANY Spanish and Italians are Catholics?"

It is funny how different areas of the country feel differently about 90 miles. After living for over 20 years in Texas, my first reaction was "90 miles...what's the problem?" But then I realize that most of the country doesn't drive that far at a drop of the hat. Still, maybe she might be willing to make the drive and come be your wingman if you bought her a really nice meal. It could be a fun evening for both of you.

Well..... that would be nice. The last I heard,two months ago,that she is still unemployed. Gasoline in California is now almost $4.00 per gallon.
Two weeks ago,gas was down to $3.59 gallon. Yesterday,gas was up to $3.93 per gallon.
