This is why Christians are told to rightly divide the word of truth so these errors do not happen.Mary cannot read the hearts of men..You take this scripture and twist it around Mary..Go to the death of Christ and read what happens there.. Read the thoughts of many after His death.. Mary's heart was pierced.. Her beloved Son hanging on a cross dying for the sins of Man Kind..Even for her own.. That would be enough to peirce any mothers heart.

Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Luke 2:35 "...and you yourself a sword will pierce so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."
John 2:5 "His mother said to the servers, "Do whatever he tells you."
Mary sees a need and appeals to Her Son to satisfy it. He does. We turn to Mary to ask her to intercede with her Son in our daily spiritual and material needs, but especially at the hour of our death. At that moment our salvation hangs in the balance as the devil makes his final foray to deter us from the path to God (Rev. 2:10). It is not surprising, therefore, that both the Hail Mary and the Our Father conclude with an appeal to be delivered from the evil one.

Luke 2:35 "Your own soul a sword shall pierce, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."
This passage is spoken by the old man Simeon on the occasion of Mary bringing Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem to offer Him to God according to the custom of the Mosaic Law. In it Simeon prophesies that Mary will share in the salvific sufferings of Her Son.

You rightly divide by the scripture.. Go to where Christ died and see the thoughts of many.. Read about it. See how the thoughts of many were revealed. How do we rightly divide?
WHo teahces us truth?
Ourselves?
I think part of the problem is the Bible version Catholics use.
Mary is not a source of holiness.. She herself walked a humble and Holy life before her God and her King..She is not a distributor of Grace.
All ready been addressed
...and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary (Luke 1: 35)
There is only one source of holiness and that is God. It is up to individuals whether to share His Holyness that He has given us or not.
If we so decide to share His holyness then we become a source of His holyness.
Mary said yes to the angel and gave birth to God incarnate. In sharing His holyness by doing His Will she became a source of His holyness.
Peace
I hope you don't mind answering a redundant question:
You use a Catholic Bible, don't you? I'm only asking because you have books that the Protestant Bibles don't. Therefore in order for me to really know what the frilly heck you're talking about as far as doctrine, I need to refer to both. Am I right? If and when I get one, then we'll talk. But just let know if I'm warm. Because if you have books I've never read, you might have info I've never heard. Let me know if I'm right or not.
You would be amazed at the Book of Wisdom.
the SHE comes from Douay-Rheims Translation error.I wonder why all conversation stopped after it is pointed out that the "she" in Genesis is in FACT a "He"?? I am SO puzzled...
She became a source? Explain this please. All ready been addressed
