Right. By in large they do not keep the Sabbath.
Even though they have God's law of conscience to convict them if it was a sin.
Alas, it is not. The Sabbath was given to the Israelites alone.
One may choose to observe it, but there is no compelling reason to do so.
Stubborn?
As if I am refusing to do as I should?
You have failed to convincingly saddle me with this yoke of bondage.
Seems unfair to call me stubborn. (I knew you were kidding, sort of)
Especially since it is not a requirement for me. Stubborn?
You mean stubborn and disobedient, I suppose.
You say you do it because you "love the Almighty".
This obviously infers that anyone who doesn't do as you do, doesn't "love the Almighty".
This is why the law and grace are like oil and water. They don't mix without constant agitation. Left alone they separate naturally.
Are you claiming that Adam kept the Sabbath?I did not know Adam was a Jew...LOL
All good. I took it as a bit of jocularity.I was joking... hence theLike I said, I do not judge...
Are you claiming that Adam kept the Sabbath?
There is no evidence of any HUMAN observing the Sabbath until it was given to the Israelites alone in Exodus chapter sixteen. Prove me wrong.
Neither is there any case for gentiles observing the Sabbath under the new covenant of grace. Before... until... Now...
Galatians 3:23-25
Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
But as soon as we infer that God prefers one camp over the other... or that one camp loves God (inferring the other doesn't)… that's the rub right there. (cause of friction)
Is that the source of the blessings you have been talking about?

Revelation 15:6-8
Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. 7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
You have failed to convincingly saddle me with this yoke of bondage.
It is only a yoke of bondage because you think it is. It is a gift from the Almighty and I consider it a joy!
Exactly, you don't have the desire for it so leave it alone. But, why do you accuse us of being in error because we do?
One may choose to observe it, but there is no compelling reason to do so.
Revelation 15:5
"After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law—and it was opened."
Fair enough.
What is your definition of "sin"?
Right. By in large they do not keep the Sabbath.

There is no proof that Adam kept the Sabbath.I have already explained that to you previously.
I asked you, "What is your motivation for following the law in grace?"I am not saying that at all.
Why did you post this then? It's in heaven, so it is Holy.
The plagues are on the earth...
Why do you suppose the Apostles didn't understand that concept? It is only a yoke of bondage because you think it is. It is a gift from the Almighty and I consider it a joy!
Everything the Bible says about the Sabbath it says to the Israelites. The "compelling" reason is that The Almighty said it was set apart and Holy. Is that not a good enough reason for you??? The Almighty said in Isaiah that He would honor those who remember and observe the Sabbath day. He also promised them that if they would speak of the Sabbath as a delight, they would find joy in the Lord.
